This is the second cloth I ever wove and wow I love weaving! It’s such a deep well of history and technique that fascinates and terrifies me. What a privilege it is, at 36 years old, to continue learning new and challenging things. The buttons are paper machéd from teaching ephemera; combined, the cloth and buttons tie my identity as a student and an educator together.

Thinking is an Action (Teaching and Learning), 2026. Handwoven cotton sampler, buttons (paper machéd teaching ephemera – handouts, roll sheets, graded assignments), handspun wool yarn, other things.

*CD4RP: Collecting Food Donations for Active Duty Soldiers and Veterans*

Community Development For Real People (CD4RP) Food Drive will collect food donations every *Tuesday 9am–Noon* and *Fridays Noon–3pm*. The donations will be distributed on Armed Services Day, Saturday, May 16th, to support families of deployed soldiers and help ease financial pressures until their loved ones return home safely.

Please pray for our active-duty soldiers currently serving in the Middle East.

*Volunteer Info*
- Volunteers should report at 8:30am(as late as 10:00am) to help with setup, packing food bags, and distributing groceries
- Teens are encouraged to volunteer
- Pre-Teens can volunteer with parental supervision

The food drive aims to collect non-perishable items starting at 10am to support local families in need, then distribute the food to fight hunger.
