We are so excited to announce that last weekend, we took home third place 🥉 at the ICCA West Semifinal in Redwood City, CA! Such an honor to represent the anteaters on the Semis Podium! Every group was so amazing, and it was a night full of inspirational stories, forged friendships, and so much beautiful music 🎶 ✨

Huge congratulations to @furmataacappella 💜 and @davisloungelizards 💚 for placing 🥇 and 🥈 respectively- you guys are AMAZING and it was truly an honor to compete alongside y’all! And to @vocalotusuci 🪷, we are so grateful to have represented UC Irvine with you guys!!

Thank you so much to @lucybonus for putting together this incredible event, and for uplifting us with your words of encouragement and kindness (we love you!!!). And to @vv.valentyna , @seth.fetro , @gregstginger , @jaketheyoung , and everyone at @varsityvocals , thank you all for making this experience so beautiful!

Shoutout to @adwik_c for winning “Outstanding Vocal Percussion” for the entire set, and @tsegatatek for once again winning “Outstanding Soloist” for ‘Higher Ground’!

There’s certainly more to come from us aca-newbies soon, but for now, we just want to say a huge THANK YOU! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!! GO ANTEATERS!! 🐜🍽️ 🩵🤍
