Thank you @loopabroad for another amazing trip. I not only learned about wildlife medicine, but the importance of conservation and how to be more sustainable. I will be forever grateful for this experience and plan to be back to continue making a difference in such a beautiful country. Thank you to everyone who made this trip so amazing and an even bigger thank you to all of the ambassador animals we got the privilege to work with! ❤️

In May I had the amazing opportunity to travel to SOUTH AFRICA!!!!! I volunteered at Cango Wildlife Ranch which is in the town of Oudtshorn. We mainly worked with cheetahs but I also gained experience with pygmy hippos, lions, white bengal tigers, leopards, meerkats, lemurs and more. We learned about the feeding and maintenance of the animals and their enclosures. Thank you @cangowildliferanch & @vwbtamu & @loopabroad !!

4 of the most transformative years of my life. what a journey. these are the people who made life so much more enjoyable, who stuck by me through every high and especially every low, who inspired me to prioritize my mental and physical health, who spent thousands of hours studying ochem, anatomy, biochem, and physiology with me at libraries (shoutout medsci) and coffee shops, who made me laugh until i felt like i was going to pass out, who opened my life up to opportunities i didn’t know existed, who taught me how to show up for myself and for the people i love, who were able to also have fun in college, and who have genuinely changed the trajectory of my life indefinitely. you guys rock.🤍

@tamuvetmed you really tested me in ways i never could have imagined😹 genuinely one of the most challenging things i’ve ever done, but so immensely rewarding in retrospect. you really do live up to your name👩🏽‍⚕️

and @tamu i guess you cool… see you again soon?👀

Surprise! I don’t just talk about culture—I teach it.

Yep, I lead workshops like this one where we blend real talk, big laughs, and deep learning to help people grow their cultural intelligence.
We don’t do boring. We do connection, reflection, and a whole lot of “oh wow, I never thought about it like that.”

If you’re trying to lead, serve, or work across lines of difference, this work changes everything.

And if you’re headed to EXPO or Humane Canada this year, I’m there! And this energy?…. It’s coming with me.

Will never get over this🐘💜

So so grateful for these past two weeks in Thailand! Elephant week two was even more amazing than week one at the dog rescue clinic! It’s so cool to say that I got to give an elephant an intramuscular injection and clean elephant ear and foot wounds. Truly an experience of a lifetime! @loopabroad @vwbtamu @thailand

I love celebrating the bond between humans and animals🩷🐕

Successful first week in Thailand at the Dog Rescue Clinic!! Got to draw blood from a dog’s cephalic vein, scrub in and assist on a neuter and spay, give pre-op and post-op IM and SQ medications, and so much more! Now onto week two at the Elephant Nature Park!
