“Be the one who loves you the most.” This was hanging in my cabin at @constellationcreek at the HOEM Retreat, put on by @emdeanekelley of @locals.creative & @hollyshankland and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Because let’s be honest... Building something meaningful (a business, a brand, a life) is messy. Especially when you’re doing it your way, not someone else’s playbook. HOEM wasn’t just another spiritual retreat or business-only event. It was a reset. A reminder that your work should feel like yours. That you don’t need to wait for permission, a perfect launch plan, or 10k followers to make it real. And that showing up fully, even when it’s uncomfortable, is part of the deal. We connected, yes, but we also left with tools. Workshops that offered clear, actionable ways to align our businesses with what actually matters. No overwhelm. No overthinking. Just grounded steps that moved us forward. Feeling clear. A little fired up. And wildly grateful. If you’re craving something that blends clarity, community, and a little soul check out their next retreat in Mendocino this October ✨

Last week we gathered beneath the trees, shared stories by the creek and returned to the creative roots that live in each of us all from the comfort of @constellationcreek. To everyone who showed up fully — with your stories, your ideas and your openness — thank you. We created something truly special together. The retreat reminded us that slowing down makes space for what matters. Thank you to the beautiful community of women that made this weekend unforgettable. Ready for the next one? We will be launching next week with more details coming soon.

That’s a wrap on HOEM’s inaugural sold out retreat in the Lost Sierra! We couldn’t have dreamt of better conversations, women, backdrop at @constellationcreek and weather. While we will dive deeper into a full recap, we wanted to share a few snapshots of moments throughout our time together. Big love to all the ladies who made this retreat so special, unforgettable and fun. Until next time. 🌞
