“I don’t even know why they call it buying…”

In this week’s episode, Clare breaks down the reality of grocery buying… and why it’s so much more than just “buying”.

From supply chains to product development, logistics to strategy it’s a role that spans far beyond what most people see.

Clare also shares her journey from buyer to Sales Director, and how that experience has shaped her perspective on both sides of the industry. She also touches on her co-founder role @w__collective where she coaches women to be strategic about their careers, close the gender pay gap, and step into leadership roles.

“You see women learning toxic behaviours from men because they think that’s the only way to succeed.”

In this week’s episode, Katie from w__collective speaks candidly about what happens when leadership models aren’t built for women and the quiet pressure to adapt rather than challenge them.

We talk about unlearning toxic behaviours, redefining what strong leadership really looks like, and why staying human matters just as much as getting to the top.

Who said chips were just a side dish? Last night’s Chippy Tea at @icetank proved they’re the main event — and we’re still drooling.

Hosted by the legends at @lambwestonathomeukie with vibes by @artender.events and chef Paul Jarvis @pauljarvis450 , it was a gourmet love letter to the British classic.

Think: Parmesan custard cheesy chips, mushroom ketchup (a Victorian fave before tomatoes were trendy!), and the most boujee ham, egg & chips you’ve ever seen. Twister fries + Jamón Ibérico = actual magic.

Add a live DJ, wine pairings, and great company — and you’ve got the ultimate elevated comfort food night out.

Who’s hungry now?

Corporate life is so messed up.

That doesn’t mean we, as the new wave of senior leaders, can’t make things better for our teams.

🔥FOLLOW FOR CAREER ADVICE MADE FOR WOMEN 🔥

Do what’s right, even if the corporate drones at the table try to tell you otherwise.

And if your values don’t match up with your job, start planning your exit. It might take some time to land a new gig, but at least you’ll have peace of mind knowing you won’t be stuck there for another five years.

Put yourself first. ❤️
