“This is the best event I’ve attended in my four months in Taiwan.” When my new friend Daniel said this to me, my first reaction was honestly: Really? Then I started to understand why he moved from Poland to Taiwan, why he started stand-up comedy, and why he’s been so committed to learning Chinese. That’s when it clicked. A small gathering. A community. Being welcome can truly spread, soothe people, and make someone feel: “I have a place here.” After leaving my job, I spent the second half of the year moving between different projects, simply wanting to try one thing— how far can I go? @dna.org.tw TDNA’s Digital Nomad meetups in Taiwan feel like glue to me, connecting people from different backgrounds and life stages. Over these two months, the meetups have eased people’s hearts, sparked real business connections, helped me make new friends, and brought me on stage to speak. That’s the magic of a Digital Nomad Meetup. And because of Daniel’s story, I’ve found a name for our next gathering: 2026/1/24 A New Chapter________ See you all in 2026! Thank you @kevinhartono7 for these touching photos. #myproject30journey
