“To know how it ends and still begin to sing it again.” 🎭👨‍🎓🎵👋

Sorry I just love putting a quote at the start of these lol. Well anyway, I guess that’s it. With our banquet over, the 2025–2026 season has officially come to its end. And tbh? I’m still a little confused on how to feel about it all. I had my ups and downs this year but it was worth it, I’d say.

Within this school year, I got to participate in around 7 shows pre-graduation. Which I’d say is a pretty hefty load all things considered. I’ve got 2 more shows lined up after graduation, and then 1 more later in the summer. I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of all of these productions, and I am so glad the year went as it did!

Change isn’t easy per se, and it’s not really meant to be. With change comes adaptation, which can take time. That’s a reality I absolutely had to face this past year. But with change, especially that of which is challenging, comes growth. I ended up taking more initiative, being a more involved leader, and helping my troupe grow as a collective. In other words, even though there was a lot of difficulties this year, I (along with my peers, ABSOLUTELY along with my peers) made it work!

I’ve had the pleasure to be Veritas Theatre’s Archivist, Vice-President, and until the past Sunday, President. I’ve seen this troupe brave hell and high water and through it all, what remains is not the officers, it’s not the directors (per this year and last, lol), it’s the spirit of the troupe. Despite whatever challenges arise, whether they be from other students, from directors, from admin, or even from ourselves, this troupe has consistently risen above them. The passion, love for theatre, and dedication to excellence is admirable, and I’m proud to say I came from it.

To my closest peers, I’m eternally grateful for your support, your love, and your faith in me. I remember coming into this troupe back in October freshman year and I was quickly made to feel welcome, and as though I belonged. You know who you are, and meeting and befriending you has made all the difference.

I cant say all I want to so with that:

Act well your part Veritas Theatre,
Lorenzo Crow 🎭
