See you Tuesday at 6pm! All are welcome. All speeds, whatever shape you’re in at the moment. Friends, fun, philanthropy. Every Tuesday at 6pm at Dog Haus Santa Clarita. Note: I, Bryan, will not be there tonight but the others in the group should be there to welcome any newcomers. Looking forward to seeing you when I’m back the following Tuesday!

We had a great time on Tuesday! New faces, same hill! And they did it smiling, can you believe that? Couldn’t have asked for a better group. Maybe they just couldn’t wait to get back for the beer 🤷 🍺 Come join us next Tuesday at 6pm at @doghaus_santaclarita Join our Strava club to see our hilly 5k route (which is beautiful) but we will add a more flat out and back shortly!! All are welcome. Officer positions still available!

We’ve done it! We have officially launched our monthly run under the Dirty Paws run club name!

Housekeeping since this is *our* group (that I lead)

🐾 Big thanks to Will, who couldn’t be at the run but was there in spirit by being our first coffee ☕️ & doughnuts 🍩 supporter. I’ll get a signup list going — I’m happy to do pickup!

🐾 I’ll start making a hike route. Since I’m just a single person leading, it will be unsupported, but we want to make a space for anyone who wants to be part of our group

🐾 @ninjacrayon had a great idea — the stamp will be available at each run and after, you can choose to get the # of stamps that the rating is stamped on whatever you’d like (shirt, I have some blank cards, shorts, etc). First to 15 stamps will get some kind of prize TBD.

🐾 Welcome to our new runners! We were happy to have you! Someone remind me to do a pre-run ice breaker next month!

Next month’s run is August 28th and we meet at the Old Pony Rides, 6:15am!

What an amazing turnout! Thank you all for joining us for the inaugural run of Dirty Paws Run Club ⛰️🐕‍🦺

Deep appreciation for you all making this run so dang special 🐾 We had 11 dogs and 17 humans! Amazing 🤩

Don’t expect this every run 😆 but I planned next month already, details on our strava

Save the date: Friday, August 28
Meet location: Old Pony Rides, Griffith Park
Rating: 2 Paws

(Transparency: someone in this photo had to be photoshopped a little closer so everyone fit in the IG space but I’m not saying who!)

How many times can you run a 3.7-mile loop in 12 hours?

@anytime_runners gave local trail runners a chance to find out Sunday at the Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve Trail. Brave souls set out at 6:30 am. I set my sights on three loops while most people were going for ultramarathon distances. @sheny_espino and Co. were ready to crew until 6:30 p.m.

Sound like a good time to you? Follow @anytime_runners for future local trail events.

Here is another appreciation post. Because it is still May. Happy Mother’s Day to my mother in law. I pray that your day was filled with love, joy, and blessings. Thank you for everything you do and for being such a special part of our lives. You are amazing and have raised some incredible children, now adults. May God bless you always.
