Happy Mother’s Day, Mom
Thank you for everything you’ve given me… your love, your strength, your wisdom.

And to my three beautiful children…
Thank you for choosing me to be your mom!
You are my greatest teachers, my deepest loves, and the most sacred part of my journey here on earth!
Being your mother is the honor of my lifetime!

To my beloved sister Parrish in spirit…you were like a second mother to me and I miss you so very deeply and feel your love always!

To all the earth goddesses, nurturers, life givers, pet moms, plant moms, and caretakers,
today I celebrate you!

For those whose mothers are no longer here, I’m sending you my love!
And for those whose relationships with their moms have been complicated or painful and you’ve had to mother yourself…I see you and I hold space for you in my heart today!

We are all woven into this sacred tapestry of life…each thread unique, each bond so divine and sacred!

I love you all! 💖💐🪻🌷🌻

🎶 I chose this song because my mom used to sing it to me at night and then I sang this to my kids every night.

These are the hardest words I’ve ever had to write. Night before last, I said goodbye to my sweet Henry Good Boy, and my heart is utterly shattered. 💔

I thought he just had an upset stomach and needed rest. He had thrown up once but he was still drinking water, but he was lethargic.
I spent the day shuffling between prepping for Thanksgiving with family and checking on him as he slept in my room.

Then at one point he went outside and laid under a tree in the backyard after going potty. At first, I thought he was just enjoying the fresh air. He looked so peaceful. But soon I realized something was very wrong. Deep down, I think I knew then that he was going outside to die, as animals often do, but I didn’t want to believe it. He has always been healthy and he was way too young to die! 😭

I rushed him to urgent care in Agoura.
After tests, the doctor told me he had an unknown bacterial infection that caused fluid to build up in his stomach, lungs, and around his heart. The word serious hit me like a knife. She explained that even if I had brought him in earlier, the outcome wouldn’t have changed…it had progressed too severely.

When we learned there was nothing more we could do, my kids and my mom came to be with us. We surrounded Henry with love as he took his last breath. He crossed over so peacefully, and having my family there meant the world to me and I know it gave him comfort too. 🥺

Henry was my best friend and companion for 2.5 beautiful years. He was always by my side, bringing me so much joy, comfort, and unconditional love. I thought we’d have so much more time together, and this loss is a heartbreaking reminder to cherish those we love, because life can change in an instant!

I take some comfort in knowing he’s no longer in pain. I imagine him on the other side, greeted by the many loved ones I’ve lost.

Henry, you were so deeply loved, and my heart aches without you! I can’t wait for the day I see you again, my sweet good boy.

Rest easy my sweet boy!
You’ll always be the bestest friend I ever had! 🥹
I love you my baby boy!
Thank you for loving me! 💔🐾🪽

A couple of weeks ago, I watched my daughter, Morrea, graduate from The New School with a degree in journalism and design.
My heart is bursting with pride! 🥰👩🏼‍🎓

@morrea , you’ve faced incredible challenges with resilience and determination. Losing your dad in 2018 and having to leave the University of San Francisco early to grieve had to be hard. Yet, you started anew at The New School and never let adversity stop you. You’ve become an inspiration to us all.

To Jake, your incredible boyfriend, who has walked this path with you..your strength and support for each other have been a beacon of hope. Despite facing your own unimaginable losses last year, you both have lifted each other up, showing what true partnership and love look like. Jake, your presence and love have been invaluable to Morrea, and for that, I am deeply grateful.
@jake.mazz I love you and thank you! 🫶🏻❤️

Makayla and Bella, you have been more than just roommates to Morrea; you have been her pillars of strength.

Makayla, your friendship and companionship over the past few years have meant the world to her. Congratulations on graduating too! 🥳

Bella, your unwavering support has been a rock for Morrea. Together, you have created a circle of love and support that has helped her thrive.

I love you girlies! ❤️🫶🏻

A special thank you to Grammy Missy, Tom, your sister Zayla, your brother Sebastian and your Tia Terese and Elizabeth and cousins for their unwavering love and support. You’ve all been essential in this journey.
@wacky1943 @_z_a_y_l_a_ @sea_bass_42 @teresetatum Love you all! ❤️🫶🏻

Morrea, your dad would be so proud, and so am I! ❤️

Keep shining and conquering the world!
I can’t wait to see what you achieve next!
The world needs your talent and beautiful spirit!! 💫✨

With all my heart and soul, I love you Morrea and I’m so happy for you!

Love,
Mom ❤️🥰
