Well, this was a rather wonderful New York moment! I’m incredibly proud to have been recognised by @adweek as an Agent of Change 2026 presented by @empowercommunity_ the industry platform created by @propellergroup and @wacl2 (Women in Advertising & Communications Leadership). So much of my work is about helping brilliant senior leaders and executive teams change HOW they lead when the stakes are high, when the old answers are no longer enough and when the way forward requires something different from them. It’s work I care deeply about, and to have its impact recognised in this way, alongside such an impressive group of people, means a great deal. One of the things I have loved most about taking The HOW of High Performance out into the world this year is seeing just how strongly this conversation is resonating. Leaders do not need more theory about why leadership matters. They want practical help to work out HOW to lead brilliantly in the reality they are facing now. A huge thank you to Adweek for the recognition, and for a very special moment during an already unforgettable week in New York. #AgentOfChange #TheHOWofHighPerformance #Leadership #HighStakesLeadership

The very first panel I attended at @cannes_lions had Frank Starling, Head of DEI, speaking about equity and representation. It set the tone for my whole week. Inclusion in the creative industry isn't a side conversation but the foundation. Grateful to have been in that room. 🙏🏽 #CannesLions #DEI #Neurodiversity #CreativeIndustry #Inclusion #CannesLions2026 @wacl2 #EmpowerCafe

CANNES, YEAR FOUR 👀 Apparently the number 4 has decided to follow me around this year. Fourth year at Cannes Lions. Four speaking engagements. And five minutes before I posted last night, I discovered I’d been named one of Adtelligent’s Top 25 AdTech Influencers to Follow in 2026 🤯 This week you’ll find me moderating conversations, speaking on panels, supporting friends, mentoring the next generation and, as always, opening up a #CannesOfWorms @_unmistakables I’m interested in the conversations happening where culture, creativity, technology and growth collide. ✨ Where does culture become a commercial advantage? ✨ How is AI reshaping creativity and decision-making? ✨ What separates organisations that stay relevant from those that slowly drift away from the people they’re trying to serve? ✨ And what conversations aren’t we having because they’re a little harder to start? Friday is a special one. I’ll be supporting @cannes_lions Glass Lion Juror @marjoda Marty Davies before spending time with my heartbeats, the Milk Honey Bees, for a live mentor session with this year’s cohort of incredible young Black girls. Mostly though, I’ll be outside. Listening. Learning. Connecting dots. Creating opportunities where I can. If you’re in Cannes, come and say hello 💜 #CannesOfWorms #TheUnmistakables #GrowthMarketing #culturalstrategy

May - a month of milestones and magic ✨ The @waclscot Festival of Talent. A keynote @uhiperth @academyhospitalityfoodtextiles The @shecanpod podcast. A foray into a new fitness adventure. A whirlwind trip to London to see @emmagrede and the culmination of @mtncoaching 12 week peak. Amongst it all, lots of incredible work with my clients. Vulnerable conversations. Big stages. New beginnings. I’ve been reflecting on everything the month has held and I want to leave you with the learnings that have stayed with me most. The insights I keep coming back to. The truths I shared on stages, in podcasts and in coaching sessions. Save this. Come back to it whenever you need it. 1️⃣ Confidence is not a destination. It’s a daily decision. You don’t arrive at confidence one day and stay there forever. You choose it. You practise it. You build evidence of it; one act of self-belief at a time. The women I spoke to at WACL this month were not short on capability. They were waiting for permission. Give it to yourself. 2️⃣ The people around you are setting your ceiling. Or raising it. Your inner circle shapes your beliefs, your standards and your ambitions more than almost anything else. Audit it and enhance it with love and without apology. 3️⃣ Self-care is not a luxury. It’s infrastructure. Moving your body. Fuelling yourself well. Sleeping. Resting. These are not indulgences you earn after achieving enough. They are the foundation everything else is built on. Treat them that way. 4️⃣ You are allowed to be a beginner. I walked into my first ballet class this month. I was not a natural but I felt completely free. There is something profound about being a student again, about choosing curiosity over competence. Never let success at one thing stop you from trying something new. 5️⃣ Worthy is not something you become. It’s something you decide. This was the thread running through everything in May. Every keynote, every coaching session, every conversation. You do not need to earn your way to the life you want. You need to decide fully, completely and without apology that you already deserve it. Because you do. Which one of these are you currently focusing on? Sheryl

Another phenomenal WACL event! Expertly curated by Lucy Gugas and Sue Benson. A mix of sessions between London, Manchester and Scotland delivered seamlessly, to a room full of exceptional women looking to learn, grow and thrive in their media and leadership roles! I gained knowledge and confidence in taking control of my finances and making my money work for me. I took away assurances on what it takes to be a great leader from Jo Whitefield. Including a quote I’ve never heard by Coco Chanel. “A women trying to be a man is a waste of a women!” A fantastic session on resilience was timed perfectly for me! A much needed reminder that resilience is how you recharge not how you endure! Connections and community are how we grow. If you’re digitally connected but socially isolated then look for groups and networks that will invite you with open arms. But remember to give freely. To have a village be a villager. I finished the day holding one of the speed mentor sessions supporting mentees with in the moment techniques for imposter syndrome. Always an inspirational day, full of fantastic people! #Connections #network #women #leaders

650 women. 3 cities. 1 extraordinary day. Today I had the privilege to speak at the @waclscot Festival of Talent. My mission was clear - to arm those in attendance with tools, strategies and inspiration to help them achieve long lasting sustainable success - in life and business. It was my privilege to feature alongside a superstar line up of other highly acclaimed and accomplished speakers. True powerhouse women who have forged incredible careers and businesses. But this post isn’t about me and what a monumental career highlight and milestones this was for me. It's about you. It’s about what I heard in that room. Because the questions were the same ones I hear everywhere I go: “Why am I holding myself back?” “How do I stop playing small?” “Why do I always put myself last?” “How do I build the confidence to truly excel in my career?" "How did you build such mental strength?" And here’s the truth I shared on that stage today. It comes down to what you believe you’re worthy of. What you feel you deserve. And then deciding — wholeheartedly, unapologetically — to pursue your greatest goals with the deep belief that it’s entirely possible. That you are the one who can make it so. That belief? It’s teachable. It’s buildable. And it changes everything. Thank you to every person in that room. Your energy, grace and feedback have landed deeply. It's been 6 months since taking my own brand and business full time. To share the stage with such an elite calibre of women — representing some of the most iconic businesses in the UK and beyond — is a reminder that truly, anything is possible. If you’re ready to take a sledgehammer to your limiting beliefs and become the highest, happiest, healthiest, wealthiest version of yourself — my DMs are open. Book your discovery call and let's start turning your dreams into your reality. The time for playing small is over. Which of those questions hit closest to home for you? What other burning questions are you wrestling with right now? Pink power suit @nadinemerabi 💕 Sheryl xo

Today was the absolute tonic. A room filled to the brim of female leaders across advertising, marketing and comms in a superb setting. Here is a little snippet of what we saw, but connecting with people from the last 20 years (really) was magnificent and empowering. We’re ready to get out there more… question is, are YOU ready for us? #wacl #festivaloftalent

Can you believe we’re already over halfway through the Festival of Talent?! 🤯 The energy in the room has been undeniable, with powerful stories and honest conversations from some truly incredible women. A few of our favourite takeaways from the day so far… 🍜 “Wins before dins” Try sharing your wins from the day with friends before you tuck into dinner. 💁🏼‍♀️ Resilience is your superpower. Life and leadership aren’t about avoiding challenges, but learning how to move through them. 🪩 AI is this century’s washing machine and everyone should be on board. It’s a tool designed to make life easier, what’s not to love? 👯‍♀️ Networking works best when it’s rooted in genuine connection. It’s less about who you know, and more about who you build real relationships with. 🖕 Your inner critic doesn’t deserve the final word. Push through the silence and take up space. So much inspiration already, and to think we’re only halfway through ✨
