Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear camera straps, carry questionable amounts of equipment, and have 47,000 photos to edit, none of which are their own.

Until next time, @thebandsofwando @bandsofamerica

Yesterday afternoon hundreds gathered on IOP for one incredible celebration of new life in Jesus.

What an amazing afternoon worshiping together, hearing stories of faith, cheering each other on, and watching person after person take this public step of faith.

JULY 2026

I may have been broke, but my life was not 😂😭 4th of July stared on the 3rd with some fireworks with friends, then the 4th in eutawville watching the show by the lake, it was incredible. Hot dogs for the World Cup, a gig at cannonball distillery (credit goes to @wadelyon for the photos), and Brandon’s mom turned 48 and had a wonderful birthday party. Time with pets, making banana nut muffins, and a lot of hot days this July, and im so happy to have my friends around me. Here’s to August, and football season being just a month away 😈

💍 FIANCÉ FRIDAY 💍

Congratulations Jace & Abigail on their recent engagement! 💗

See below to learn more about Jace & Abigail’s story and find out #HowHeAsked

“We first met in high school, where Jace played football and I was one of the athletic trainers. Although we knew each other through sports, dating didn’t cross our minds until a teacher insisted we’d be a great match. Since then, we’ve grown together through college, making long distance work while I attended Clemson and Jace attended The Citadel.”

Jace took me all over Charleston the day of the engagement, including Pitt Street Bridge (where he had asked me to be his girlfriend years earlier), Shem Creek, and an incredible omakase dinner downtown. The entire day, I kept expecting Jace to propose at every stop.

Once all the activities were over, we drove back to my house to watch the sunset on the dock. That’s when I saw the decorations our parents had thoughtfully set up and knew it was happening.”

Abigail and Chase worked together to design her dream engagement ring with us, landing on a mixed metal trilogy featuring an oval center stone flanked by half moon side stones. The diamonds are set in a white and yellow gold cathedral style setting from Gabriel & Co., complete with a hidden pavé bridge tucked beneath the center stone.

MARCH 2026

March is seemingly going to be the month of great growth and great loss, all in one go. Losing winter, gaining spring. A new house, leaving the old one behind. Gaining more gigs at the WindJammer (credit @wadelyon for the photos), the beautiful birth of Mr and Mrs Horton, seeing more shows, growing with Kate, using my new camera, March Madness, and the growing desire to become better. All this while remembering what i lost a year ago.

I lament with my friends a lot, sitting on the back patio, talking about the memories of Asher. This week, recalling the shock of learning about the loss, and having to go through such a painful yet beautiful wake. Cleaning up the old house, I broke down and cried, remembering that I was also leaving behind the home where I learned that I lost my best friend. Some memories I would love to leave in that house and forget, and trust me there are some, but I won’t ever forget Asher. A year since I last saw his body, and time has tried to heal, with some success, and a lot of failure. Every day, I find ways to think of him. A drum pattern that I really like, tattoos that remind me of him, having a great gig and wanting to call and shoot the shit with him, inviting him over to kick it, so many thoughts and desires and feelings I won’t ever be able to share with him again. It really is just a horrid reality that I can’t grow with him more. I find myself proud of the man that I have become over this past year, all while destroyed inside that I can’t tell the man who made me proud from day 1. A beautiful and strong soul, taken too soon, and I won’t ever forget the memories, love, laughter, and brotherhood, I got from such a wonderful man. I love you Asher ❤️ to all that read this far, always remember, there are loved ones watching you, and rooting you on. Keep going, fight through the hardships, and make the one’s proud who aren’t able to tell you in words, but in love. Cause the love for Asher, Jake, Bryce, all the friends I’ve lost, they power me to continue to grow. For them. For myself. And for all the ones I love. Thank you March, you’re a tough cookie, and I barely got through, but the rest of the year, be prepared 😈
