One tree, eight perspectives. 🌳
At the heart of a tree is for eternity stands a walnut tree in my garden.
While I was working on the album, I wanted to see what this tree could become through other eyes. So I invited artists around me to interpret it freely, each in their own language and medium.
The same tree became a drawing, a photograph, a print, an abstraction. Familiar in some images, almost unrecognisable in others.
These works gradually became part of the visual world of a tree is for eternity and accompany the music throughout the project.

Lucas Bernaerts — pencil

Thank you to everyone who took this tree and made it their own. 🌳

Out today! @lomeulen's new album "a tree is for eternity". Ambient
atmospheres, experimental edge, and cinematic momentum. A tribute to that old walnut tree in Lo's garden, which is both a home and a source of inspiration.

Why a tree is for eternity? 🌳
It all started with a walnut tree in my garden.
A tree that has been there for years, quietly growing, changing with the seasons, and witnessing the passage of time.
Somehow, it became the starting point for something much bigger.
Music, moving images, visual art and poetry gradually came together around this one tree, each offering a different way of looking at it.
That's how a tree is for eternity came to life.
More than an album, it's an invitation to listen, look and experience.
