A season full of heart, hard work and some incredible moments in the red, yellow and black. These ladies have made their mark both on and off the field, and we're proud to celebrate our 2026 Waitomo Waikato FPC award winners!

🏆 Player of the Year – Terangi Kureta
Recognised for her outstanding contribution throughout the season, leading through her performances and consistently making her presence felt on the field.

🏆 Emerging Player of the Year – Amber Mundell
An exciting young talent who has stepped up, embraced her opportunities and shown just how bright the future of Waikato women's rugby is.

🏆 Manatiaki Award – Grace Houpapa-Barrett
Recognising the care, leadership and commitment shown towards her teammates, and the values that make someone truly special to have in the team.

🏆 Supporters Club Player of the Year – Grace Houpapa-Barrett
A special nod from the people who have backed our girls all season, recognising the impact Grace has made and the pride she brings to the Waikato jersey.

🏆 Tainui Waka Maaori Player of the Year – Reese Anderson
Celebrating her contribution to the team and the pride, mana and connection she brings to representing Waikato Maaori rugby.

🏆 Joe's Garage People's Choice Award – Rubi Hart
She might not have had the chance to take the field this season, but that didn't stop Rubi from giving everything she had to this team. Her dedication, behind-the-scenes mahi and unwavering support for the girls made a massive difference throughout the year!

What a group of wāhine! Plenty to be proud of from our 2026 season, and while our campaign has wrapped up, there's no doubt this group has plenty more to give. Bring on 2027! ❤️💛🖤

World Cup 5&6 in Mentougou, Beijing 🇨🇳

Did some of my best laps of the year over the weekend. Not a whole lot to show for it on paper, leaving with a 1/4 final, but pretty proud of the progress!

Another go this weekend in Chongli.
