💜 Celebrating Women. Empowering Girls. Honouring Legacy.💜

What a beautiful weekend celebrating phenomenal women, their achievements, courage and the doors they continue to open for others! 👑

Congratulations to all the incredible winners and finalists. So lovely catching up with Rachel Cole, last year’s Businesswoman of the Year, and Gareth. Special appreciation to ARTI for her phenomenal hosting! ❤️

I also remember our beautiful Sue Wright, who passed away this year. Sue encouraged me to live out loud and reminded us that there is always room for one more at the table. Her legacy lives on. 🕊️

Glorious to spend last night with my wonderful friend Nicole Mariza, celebrating a full circle moments of defying the odds through the support of the Haven Wolverhampton and women acting in today's society (WAITS). It was joy unspeakable.

And today, on International Day of the Girl, I'm spending time with my most favourite girl in the world, my daughter Annissa. ❤️

May we continue to celebrate women, lift one another and create a world where every girl knows her worth and her possibilities are limitless.

Forward Ever. Backward Never.💜

📢😀🥁 anddd …here is our stalls Map for tomorrow’s Market Day. With who is attending as well 📋👍

Please do study the ‘Key Code’, on the right. You can then look through the different keys on the list and then see who is named next to them on code, it will tell you who is attending …📍🗺️

Our Charity Stall this month is W.A.I.T.S (@waitscharity) - a brilliant local charity, that is empowering and lifting up women in difficult situations… they do such amazing work to help / work towards designing to pave the way for a legacy of Freedom, Empowerment, and Safety for women & families. Please do pop over and say hello 💖💚

And once again - a BIG BIG thanks to the MAP team who start building the MAP at the beginning of the week and work very hard to ensure that all traders fit in. Even adaptating to the very last min pull outs. It’s not an easy task, but they do get through it - Radders, Rowena, David, Tom & James 🙏

See you all in the morning 👋☺️☕️🥐

What I wore today!

I knew today was going to be busy, so I dressed for the part.

I absolutely love this new bright blue jumpsuit from River Island (obviously Vinted!) paired with my white heels, and I was ready to take on today.

Client meetings, supporting my team, seeing a lovely BDM from a lender, talking collaboration.

We launched our new ‘expert hour’ with the Women in Mortgages community, and our first guest speaker was the inspiring @vicofarrell

A great first chat (and it won’t be our last) with Marcia from @waitscharity - who honestly are doing amazing things!

Now time for date night with the Husband. Off to see the new Resident Evil film (or hide 🫣)

Next two days are out the office at events in London, lots of content to come!

Happy Tuesday!

What does it take to be the custodians of our land?

For to long we’ve had to face obstacles that have stopped us from building real community wealth. But come the 19th September that comes to an end.

The tools and resources are out there. They’ve just been hidden from you.

So if you’re a black owned organisation interested in building community wealth. Pull up.

If you’re an individual interested in building community wealth. Pull up.

Because the 19th is the day we start to explore how we actually build long-lasting community wealth.

When I was asked to join an incredible group of women to raise money for some great charities, of course I said yes. When I found out we were doing a ‘calendar girls’ style shoot for a 2027 calendar, I was more than trepidatious. Honestly, it’s totally out of my comfort zone. But I wasn’t going to let that stop me from raising awareness of the brilliant Birmingham charity WAITS (woman acting in today’s society) which helps and supports women from all backgrounds escape domestic violence, get jobs and start afresh with hope. It’s the charity I’ve chosen to raise funds for by doing this. Whether you have a laugh at our bravado, or some of the amazing set ups we’re ‘hiding/posing’ behind I hope you’ll buy one because all the charities chosen make a big difference to so many people.
Oh and do grab a ticket and come to our launch (details in link at top). We and all our chosen charities would love your support. See you there!

💜 Sunday Reflections 💜

In 2014, I lost almost everything.

I experienced homelessness, faced a life-threatening illness, and found myself in one of the darkest seasons of my life.

This week, I was named one of MSN’s Top 5 Influential Women Shaping 2026.

If those two sentences don’t seem to belong in the same story... that’s exactly the point.

Recognition is never the destination. It’s simply an opportunity to point people back to the journey and to the God who carried me through it.

I was recognised for my work through Governance with SOUL™, the Legacy Centre of Excellence, The Lunar Society, Actuate Global, WAITS, and my forthcoming books.

Those achievements didn’t begin with success.

They began with survival.

That journey shaped what I now believe with all my heart: governance is never just about structures or policies. At its best, it is about protecting people at their most vulnerable.

As AI transforms our world at extraordinary speed, our greatest challenge isn’t simply whether we can innovate. It’s whether our wisdom, character and compassion can keep pace.

Technology may change the way we make decisions, but it must never replace the values by which we make them.

That’s why I believe the world needs Governance with SOUL™: Stewardship. Orientation. Understanding. Legacy.

Thank you to Melissa Vera and MSN for this unexpected honour, to my incredible daughter Annissa, my constant rocket fuel 🚀, and to the remarkable women I was recognised alongside.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

If you’re living through your own 2014, don’t mistake your present chapter for your whole story.

God is still writing.

Keep believing.
Keep serving.

Forward Ever. Backward Never. 🚀💜

Every day, women's charities across the UK are saving lives and protecting rights, yet they receive only 1.8% of charitable funding...

That's why we're raising £10,000 to ensure the Women's Forever Fund becomes a reality 💫

This message has been on my heart for a few days, but it seemed a bit flippant to simply say, “Keep going.”
Then I’m reminded that this account is more than just clickbait. It’s an encouragement and a service, and every post is thought about so carefully before the send button is pressed.

So we’ll go with it and trust that this might be the message someone needs to see today.

Keep going, because there is hope, and there is help available. 🩷

💜 Sunday Reflection 💜.

Some books take longer to share.

Not because you are not proud of them.

Because sometimes you have to breathe through them first.

A few months ago, B.R.E.A.T.H.E. Again: Beyond Survival was launched, and I was honoured to contribute my chapter.

For a while, I stayed quiet.

I needed time to sit with what those pages represented.

Recently, watching The Polygamist became an unexpected mirror.

Not because our stories are the same, but because trauma leaves traces that many survivors recognise.

It reminded me of seasons I survived: moments of pain, moments when my body failed me, and moments when I was fighting simply to stay alive.

It also reminded me of the people who carried me.

Especially my daughter Annissa. ❤️

When my faith felt tired, hers never did.
She kept believing.
She kept praying.
She kept reminding me God was not finished with me.

Today I am overwhelmed with gratitude.

I am still here.
I am still breathing.
I will never take that gift for granted.

This book is not just about surviving.

It is about what comes afterwards.
💜 There is life beyond survival.
💜 There is joy beyond fear.
💜 There is purpose beyond the wounds.

By God’s grace…
We survived.

And somehow…
We learned to B.R.E.A.T.H.E. Again.
📖 Available on Amazon.

All proceeds donated to WAITS, supporting women rebuilding their lives beyond abuse.

Helping another woman thrive…

That is legacy. 💜

“He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.”
Psalm 40:2

DONATE TODAY!!!

Love is patient; love is kind
Mr. Wrong isn't Mr. Right.

Love don't demand its own way
Love isn't rude or intimidating
Love isn't cruel or impatient
Love won't knock you around
Love should tell you that you're beautiful.
Love doesn't tell you that ' you've lost it no
Love don't tell you you got no future without him. . No, you should leave that man alone
He's Mr. Wrong.

Chorus

Love is patient; love is kind . . .

Love only delights in truth
Brings out the best in you
Love, love, the faith in you
There's nothing love can't do
Mr. Right tells you he trusts you
He's got your back; you've got his too
He loves your family
He shows it through and through
He's man enough to say, 'I'm sorry, Boo.'

Chorus

Love is patient. . .

Millions in dormant assets could fund women's organisations across the UK, for the long term, not just the next grant cycle!

We're asking @rachelreevesmp to make it happen. Will you add your voice? 💫
