Some more sticks and smiles from @secretdreamsfest and @sophieseay.photography ❤️
We found so many cool sticks, old bottles, and bones in these woods. More than any other venue I’ve worked! So we were happy to share all of our treasures with the rest of the community.

-Slide 2 art install from @spacecadetslighting (always a pleasure to create spaces together)

@wakethefarmup Ande the Elf was our host for the September session of the 2025-2026 Yearlong Permaculture Design Course. We got to explore his mature food forest, visit with his animals, see examples of structures and artwork made from natural and reclaimed materials, and enjoy his infectious spirit all day long. Thank you for having us out, Ande!

A place to rest your tired bones. ✨
Spaces to take a beat and ground yourself have always been my favorite to make.
This is just a bit of the stick stuff my crew got to build at @secretdreamsfest this year.
Big love to the stick crew and volunteers who put in some hard work. Couldn’t have done it without you.
.
I’ll share more soon. ❤️

When your head’s in the clouds
Well, go get your shovel
And we’ll dig a deep hole
To bury the castle, bury the castle

Here’s proof of the biggest little secret of the forest ~
It’s these people. Plus so many more that I couldn’t fit into this little video, these people are the heart of the forest.
Every art piece, every painted structure & decor arrangement, every planted flower is soaked in: endless giggles, tears both celebratory & vulnerable. All zooming around to get the job done to a soundtrack of emo music & so much talent.
All the rough hands and soft hearts that lay their energy into the art of this place, who care for the land and forage with such deep care… they’re the reason there’s so much magick in the forest.

Thank you for another year of being my creative family - you incredibly talented weirdos 🖤🎨

This time we weave Wizards and Elephants,
Bamboo Willow and Wattles upon Cedar and Earth under Elm. Each Withie and Stave thoughtfully placed and naturally graced, with attention and passion, setting space for a celebration of love and a commitment.

New wildcrafting workshop just announced, and this one is a special double feature!

Ande "the Elf" and Marielle "the Farming Artist" team up to teach you how to weave a foraging basket from tulip poplar bark, then take you on a plant walk to forage ingredients for making herbal tea.

Stick around afterwards for communi-tea time around the fire!

Saturday May 16, 3PM-6PM at Growing Value Nursery in East Price Hill, Cincinnati. $65 per person for both workshops. Register on our website! Link in bio

We are amazed by the incredible humans who come together to make it easier for kids and teachers to learn outside 🌳 We had such a fun workday today on the students’ outdoor classroom design at @thedaterhigh

We practiced ancient, natural building techniques to make a cob oven with almost all of the materials being recycled or found on site. All we had to purchase were the fire bricks !

Students helped move topsoil for their “green carpet” learning space where we’ll plant clover flowers and violets and they got their hands dirty mixing clay, sand and straw for the cob pizza oven. A cooking area was a priority for the students as food brings community and the school has an awesome culinary program with a chef as a teacher 👌

We wouldn’t have been able to do this without the continued mutual trust and support of @keepcincinnatibeautiful as well as the maintenance crew at @iamcps and the generosity of @loweshomeimprovement and @westwoodworks

For the workday today we want to give a huge shoutout and thanks to @wakethefarmup @jon_kuma_bupo and @co_creation_station for their expertise in permaculture and cob natural building 💪

Stay tuned for our workday tomorrow where we’ll be finishing the cob oven, lighting the first fire and cutting back honey suckle to make a “living hedge” fence 💜💛

If you want to be a part of one of our outdoor classroom workdays, let us know-we’re completing 3 outdoor classrooms throughout April and love helping hands for planting, painting, moving stuff, building and more ☮️😎

Wattle Wizards @jon_kuma_bupo @wakethefarmup working a living willow fence at the United Plant Savers Sanctuary in Rutland, Ohio. If you don’t already know, go check them out @unitedplantsavers and support the preservation of medicinal plants such as ginseng, goldenseal and so many more! Explore their library, shop, hiking trails, and… among numerous other amazing spots to explore here, come explore the living willow medicine circle. It was originally designed and planted by @livingwillowfarm 4 years ago. Much to growing on here!!!
