My pleasure to working alongside Springvale Rise Community Hub team, @springvaleriseps and with many local initiatives raised Health & Wellbeing Awareness for many local Multicultural Community members through a successful Forum which’s been possible by @cityofgreaterdandenong’s Community Development Grant and by inclusive collaborations of @walaconnections ,Dandenong South Primary School, @south_east_community_links , @jeanhailes ,Breast Screen Victoria, @ambulancevic ,Mental Health Wellbeing Local, @victoriapolice , @communityhubsaustralia and by many more local initiatives.

As a local CALD Advocate I’m always proud to be part of such inclusive Community Project/Programs and I recommend Community Hubs of @springvaleriseps to everyone living locally.

The Long Walk continues to grow year on year - and last week’s Walk and Long Lunch was another powerful reminder of why it matters so much.

For many, it’s one day in Melbourne, which on Friday we shared with over 30,000ppl.

But for more than 25,000 kids participating in The Long Walk’s education programs each year, it’s something much bigger - connection, culture, education and opportunity.

We’re incredibly proud to work alongside The Long Walk team to help deliver one of Melbourne’s most important cultural events, and to play a part in the impact it continues to create across communities.

A huge effort from everyone involved, and amazing to see the middle of Melbourne packed once again 💙

We’ve just wrapped a beautiful weekend of cultural exchange, Eid, and shared learning in collaboration with Wala Connection.

Through workshops, storytelling, and a shared meal, we explored Indigenous ingredients, food knowledge, and community connection, bringing together children, and families in one space.

This gathering is part of a growing journey, an ongoing project and upcoming documentary rooted in food, memory, and land.

We’re looking forward to building more collaborations with organisations working across climate, food preservation, Indigenous rights, and refugee engagement.

I’ve recently arrived in Australia for a short time and would love to connect.
