When @samantha_con_th_ relocated to Kansas City in 2025, she recognized a gap in the city's vibrant Latinx and salsa-dancing communities: a need for more live salsa music and accessible dance education. In response, she formed Samantha Con Th y Su Sabor de Salsa; a 9-piece band rooted in the Afro-Latin traditions of salsa, cumbia, bachata and merengue. Samantha Con Th y Su Sabor de Salsa has performed at festivals like KC Pridefest and KC Fiesta Hispana, as well as at salsa socials in clubs around the Kansas City area. With rhythms that will move your hips and lyrics that will move your heart, Samantha Con Th y Su Sabor de Salsa brings a new flavor, un nuevo sabor, to Kansas City's Latin dance scene- and they're just getting started.
