SWP founder Rick Robinson had a great visit with @waldorfwarriors addressing a topic that’s crucial both on and off the field: mental health.

Day 1 included group sessions with coaches and athletes, with more than 450 athletes participating. Day 2 focused on individual meetings with coaches.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support coaches and athletes as they build healthier, stronger teams.

La Sierra U Team Showcase🔥 Christian Borboa INF-C 2028 Uncommitted Rios Baseball-Corona HS 4.25 GPA. Since joining the program and 6 college showcases later he has stolen 23 bases. I told him to set a goal and he is 2 away and when he hits that he adds another 10. Very versatile player with a primary position being the middle but the plus is he can catch. He is just a gamer that loves to compete and does not want to come off the field. Very coachable, hard working dude that his teammates love being around. Scrappy dude at the dish and hits better with 2 strikes. He puts together competitive at bats and hits anywhere in the line up. Does the little things well. Lays it down if the 3b is back and runs well. DM for more info on Christian.

Sonny Lopez INF/P 2028 Uncommitted Rios Baseball-Norco HS 4.5 GPA. Have yourself a day why don’t you. This two way player just loves to compete on the mound and in the box. He wants the ball in big moments. Very coachable and one of the most liked teammates in the program. Comes from a highly competitive family which is a great thing in my opinion. He continues to grow and now working with @christopher_sovereign so big things to come from this young man. Dm for more info on Sonny.

🔥 Matthew Cardenas RHP/INF 2027 Uncommitted
Rios Baseball – Norco HS 3.8 GPA

Matthew is a hard-working young man who does all the little things and simply gets the job done. Not many hitters square balls up against him his stuff has movement and consistently misses barrels.

He continues to grow as a player and is fully committed to doing whatever the team needs to be successful.
Matthew is a very versatile player and is far more than just a PO. He’s a great teammate, loves to compete, and is always willing to step up in any role.

Big fan of this dude and excited to continue watching him develop.
