We’re delighted to see Aria Studio Executive @iddonjones featured in the latest edition of @broadcast_tech, sharing his perspective on the growth of the film and television industry in North Wales. From Welsh-language productions that have sustained careers and developed generations of talent, to major international productions now choosing to film in the region, the article looks at the decades of investment in people, skills and storytelling that have helped build the industry we have today. It’s a story that continues here at ARIA, where @rowndarownd films on Stage 2 alongside a growing range of international productions coming to North Wales. As Iddon writes, “The local and the international are not competing priorities; they strengthen one another.” A big thank you to Broadcast Tech for the opportunity to share our perspective, and to all the people, organisations and productions who continue to build the screen industry here in North Wales.
