The scoreboard changes. The standard doesn’t. 🤘🏾

Down 20 in the opener. Up 20 one week later.

The message remained the same: stay focused, handle the details and finish the job.

Consider this the opening scene.

An unforgettable weekend in Canton at the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic—from the history preserved inside the museum to the energy surrounding the game.

I’m grateful to everyone at the Hall for the hospitality and giving me the freedom to explore and capture so much football history through my lens.

These are just the establishing shots.

LOSSES INTO LESSONS. 🧱x🧱

A year ago, that mindset helped @jcsufootball respond to a loss against Virginia Union and continue building toward a CIAA championship.

The final episode of Season 3 was called “Lessons Learned.”

Now, a new chapter begins with another lesson.

After a difficult Week Zero loss to Benedict, Coach Maurice Flowers reminded the Golden Bulls what comes with entering a season ranked, favored and No. 1 in Black college football.

Everybody is coming for them.

“We don’t lose. We learn.”

An exclusive Brick x Brick with JCSU Football sneak peek.

Watch the first three seasons now on Prime Video. Link in bio.

Parker McQuarrie has spent most of his college football career carrying the label of what he could become.

A four-star prospect. A UCLA signee. A 6-foot-7 quarterback with a big arm and major expectations.

Now, after a journey through multiple levels of college football, @parkermcquarrie finally has his shot.

The former four-star recruit has won the starting quarterback job at Johnson C. Smith University and will lead the defending CIAA champions into the 2026 season.

JCSU head coach Maurice Flowers says McQuarrie earned the job through his consistency, film study and extra work with his receivers.

“He just really hasn’t got his shot to be a starting college quarterback,” Flowers said.

That changes Saturday.

The former four-star prospect has already won the job. Now he gets to show everyone what he can do with it. 🤘🏾
