Walker Overbay | Class of 2028
Position/Size: 6’6” Junior GPA: 4.0 📚
Walker Overbay is a high-academic, multi-sport athlete who continues to elevate his game every single time he steps on the court. At 6’6”, he brings legitimate size, bounce, and versatility Uses his frame and athleticism to clear the boards and finish strong above the rim. Smooth, confident stroke from deep with a clean, fluid jump shot off the bounce.
A high-level two-sport athlete who recently earned a Division II verbal offer for basketball from Ferrum College!
With his combination of size, skill, and relentless work ethic, expect Walker to have a massive breakout season on the hardwood this year. 📈🔥

🏀 Three Blue Demons. Three Ranked Prospects. 🇧🇧
Three of our guys are currently ranked in their respective classes by PrepHoops Virginia: 📈
🔱 Garrett Overbay | ‘28 / JR
Overall #40 | Position #3
🔱 Walker Overbay | ‘28 / JR
Overall #98 | Position #22
🔱 Evan Custis | ‘28 / JR
Overall #105 | Position 22

Well-deserved recognition for these guys who continue to put in the work, compete, and represent Christiansburg Basketball.

And we believe there are a few more Blue Demons who deserve to — and eventually will — find their way onto these lists.

Go Big Blue! 🇧🇧
