Recap from our first CABIN festival. At the conclusion of each two-month residency session, we gather to celebrate our artist residents and the work they’ve created during their time here.

Our first two-day program included open studios, a multi-venue exhibition across the village of Potsdam, shared dinners, and time in nature.

Save the date for our Autumn Residency Festival Weekend: October 23–26. We look forward to welcoming you back! Photos by @aidanc.m

Now @cabin.ny is a programme to watch…

Founded in Berlin in 2023 by @lawrencebhazen, the project has since relocated to Potsdam, NYC, launching both a new exhibition program and an artist residency to match.

And boy do they have an eye…

Their latest summer residency project opened a few weeks back and it is a treat. Bringing together works from the 23 artists who spent two months at the residency, the works now adorn the walls of the very studios in which they were created.

Sprawled across several separate spaces throughout the city, residents of Potsdam are invited on a treasure hunt of sorts, discovering along the way some of the brightest talent emerging today…
