I Love You Bigger Than the Universe by Dianne Walker Brown 🤍

What a beautiful little book with such a big message.

I love how simply, yet magically, this book explores the universe, reminding, children that we all have our own special place in it.

As we grow, explore and discover new things, our world expands. And just like the universe, love is so much bigger than what we can see. It grows with us, day after day, and lasts forever🤍

From my perspective as a child therapist, what makes this story particularly lovely is how it gives children a visual way to explore something as enormous and abstract as love. For some children, being able to imagine love through the starts, space and the vastness of the universe can help make that feeling a little a little more tangible.

It’s simple, gentle and full of wonder- the kind of book that invites cuddles, questions and lovely conversations together.

And of course, Eric wanted to share his own little review too! 😂

Thank you, Dianne, for such a beautiful reminder that love has no limits ❤️😘🪐

✨📖 THE GREATEST GIFT — SPREAD 2

An unexpected visitor. An extraordinary message. A promise that would change the world. ❤️

God sent the angel Gabriel to Mary to tell her that she would give birth to Jesus, the promised Savior.

As I illustrate this beautiful Bible story, my prayer is that every child who sees it will become curious about Jesus and discover the love of God. 🙏🏽

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” — Luke 1:37 (KJV)

Follow along as the story unfolds. 🎨✨

📖✨ THE GREATEST GIFT SPREAD 1

Before the manger, before the angels sang, before the shepherds hurried to Bethlehem… there was a promise. ❤️

God promised to send a Savior, and He did not forget His word.

I'm beginning a children's Bible illustration series telling the beautiful story of the birth of Jesus — one spread at a time.

My prayer is that these illustrations will help little hearts discover God's love, understand the story of Jesus, and grow curious about the Word of God. 🙏🏽

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given.” — Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)

Follow along as we tell the greatest story ever told. ✨

Every artist needs a good art critic. 😂✏️🐶

I think this little guy is taking his job VERY seriously.

I love creating children's-book illustrations where the characters can tell a story through their expressions and body language even without a big background.

What do you think the puppy thinks about the drawing? 👀

Have a story waiting to be illustrated? DM me. 📚✨

Some presents are just too big to carry… 🎁😂

This little Christmas delivery definitely needs a little help especially with a puppy pulling the ribbon in the opposite direction! 🐶🎀

I love creating children's-book illustrations where a simple moment can tell a whole story without saying a word.

What do you think is inside the giant present? 👀🎄

I donated a book my aunt wrote to a center for autism where I used to work. The kids liked the story and the pictures! @walkerbrownbooks @actionbehaviorcenters

Same character. Different moment. Same story. ✨📚

Character consistency is one of the most important parts of children's book illustration — because your characters should feel like the SAME person from page one to the final page.

Here’s Amara in two different moments from her little world. 💛

Are you an author looking for an illustrator who can keep your characters consistent throughout your entire book?

Please parents and grandparents, if you have any Bookweek costume fails to share in the comments 💬, that would help me know that I’m not alone. 😱
Thank you in advance. 🙏

This incident aside, I used to love Bookweek.🙌

How about you? How much do you love it on a scale of 1 - 10? 😅

❓Do you have your costumes sorted already for Bookweek starting on the 24th?

Good luck everyone. 🙋‍♀️ Enjoy it while you can, before they get too cool for dressing up.

If you want to join in the fun and do your own post like this, I’ve just made up a new hashtag for you to use, which I’ll search in a few days. #bookweekcostumefails 🤣
