Today I got to thread together two of my favorite things: bookstores and flowers!

During my first season with the farm, @thebooktenders_york served as the pickup spot for the Bouquet Club. Forever grateful for how they have always welcomed me (and my big ideas) with open arms. Every great community is made infinitely better by the presence of an independent bookstore. What a joyful day designing on site, bringing this vision of an autumnal arch to life.

There are dahlias here from @walkerkeayfarm and hydrangeas from a private estate in Cape Neddick (a fellow Bouquet Club member!) and sedum and marigolds from the farm. Truly a celebration of books, community, living with the seasons, and of course — flowers!

✨🎇it’s that tiiiiiime🍂 💜
as the seasons change and it gets a little chilly, we tend to seek out nourishment in the way of bone broth, teas, cocoa, soup, warming tonics etc.
i am so excited to start the fall batches of fire cider ! i’m including horseradish in this batch because i was able to finaaaally source some locally (thank you cara!😘) also the garlic was supplied by walker keay farm (thank you tyler & amelia!💛) i try to gather locally when i can and wish every ingredient could be sourced from my neighborhood but the goal is to get more & more when I can!
i will update with the fall & winter markets as they come up, and I hope to see you there! 🌀❄️
my goal is to be more active on hunnybee healings’s social media (& less active on my own) touting the benefits of every thing inside the tonic itself, answering questions and promoting when i can! feel free as always to reach out directly if you want a bottle! i will still refill bottles for a $1 discount and would love if you tell your friends & family about hunnybee healing!

🌾Savor the Summer @york_land_trust

This event was so much fun again this year (especially sans torrential downpours)!

We had the honor of catering alongside the fabulous @soggypoboys 🎻 and @row34nh 🦪

Our menu highlighted local produce from @walkerkeayfarm + @zachsfarm + our own galley gardens 🍅

- garden green salad w/ our house honey white balsamic vinaigrette
- summer harvest chicken with tomato, caramelized onion + basil
- @seaportfish haddock piccata 🍋
- garlic + herb roasted fingerlings
- brown butter roasted carrots
- vanilla ice cream w/ pear cobbler cones
- chocolate mousse spoons
- mini cheesecakes w/ Maine blueberry compote 🫐

The food, the company, the dancing…such a magical summer event. Thank you for having us!

This week’s bouquets for @destefanosmarket are inspired by wine country in honor of an event they’re hosting. Bordeaux and Merlot tones of zinnias and Dara against crisp Riesling greens from the sedum, with bright and showy sunflowers to bring the party. Even the rust-colored amaranth reminds me of corks and casks. Almost all grown at @walkerkeayfarm! (The sedum is from my farm.) During my honeymoon in New Zealand we stopped at some vineyards that had fields and fields of sunflowers next to the grapes (see last slide) so these make me think of that wonderful trip as well.

It’s Flower Friday (more like Fri-yay, am I right?) at @lilskittery and @destefanosmarket thanks to my seasonal collaboration with @walkerkeayfarm. This week’s designs remind me of tropical punch. They’re a little bit fruity, sweet, and just right for summer. Get ‘em while you can!
