Heading into the 3rd Trimester in a couple of weeks, trying to remain faithful in a world that seems so dark and filled with hatred.
I often sit and worry that we made the wrong choice to bring a black boy into this world. But then I am reminded of God’s perfect plan and that the Lord makes no mistakes.
If God sees it fit for him to enter the world during this time, he must be a blessing that will ignite a fire of love. Can’t wait to see you baby boy!

I pretended to take a Polaroid of my nephews, but instead surprised them with tickets to see Hamilton. Pranks are fun. #hamilton #hamiltroids

The talented cast, crew, friends & family of @hamiltonmusical joined us for dinner on Sunday evening. A special thanks to Aaron Burr (@danielbreaker) for his continued support of Porter House. Tomorrow there’ll be more of us. #latergram #ThrowBackThursday (📷: @frecklessly7)

Today is my one year #hamilversary! Upon seeing the show in Chicago last summer, life changed infinitely and more show tickets were immediately purchased. If you still haven’t seen @hamiltonmusical yet, find a way to make it happen!

FLASHBACK: Five years ago today; the world premiere of Tarell Alvin McCraney's "Choir Boy," directed by Trip Cullman, opened its limited engagement at New York City Center - Stage II.

Commissioned by Manhattan Theatre Club, "Choir Boy" featured Nicholas L. Ashe, Kyle Beltran, Grantham Coleman,Jeremy Pope, Wallace Smith, Austin Pendleton and Tony Award winner Chuck Cooper. "The New York Times" called the play (with music) “vivid, magnetic and moving.” On December 27th, "Choir Boy" is scheduled to begin performances at Broadway's Samuel J.
