A tribute to all the women in my life who support me, take care of me, hold me and love my boys. I use this phrase often: “It takes a village to raise a child” I truly believe in this and I have been so very fortunate to have had/have women who have been “my village” and who have shared this incredible journey of motherhood. These women have helped me with looking after my boys: when I had to work, needed rest, went out to have fun, was poorly, or when I travelled abroad. Some have cooked for me, made me coffee, shared cocktails or endless cup of teas and lent a listening ear. Some have held me when it all felt overwhelming and hard. And I think all of them shared laughter, fun and joy. 💛 I have huge respect for all of them and am very grateful to have them in my life, to share the hardest and most rewarding journey of parenting. #womensupportingwomen #motherhood #parenthood #womensupport #women (Of course there are some very special men too but this has to wait for another post)
