Drumroll for SILVERSTEIN From Omni to Walnut: A Rock Star Rescue Story šŸ„šŸ„šŸ„šŸŽø Back in Easter šŸ°šŸ„•2022, something magical happened. Jess and Paul walked through our doors and found their newest family member, Omni. Renamed Walnut, has been thriving ever since in his loving forever home with his new best friend, Hazelnutā€”whoā€™s already an Instagram star! And guess what? Walnut now has his own IG page, too! Jess and Paul may just be the sweetest, most soft-spoken couple weā€™ve ever met. Their love for cats is written all over themā€”literally! Jessā€™s arms are adorned with stunning cat tattoos, showcasing her devotion to these incredible animals. But as we got to know them better, we discovered something extraordinary about Paul. This quiet, gentle soul? Heā€™s the drummer for the internationally acclaimed hard rock band SilversteinšŸ„šŸŽøšŸ’„ā€¼ļø Known for their emotionally charged post-hardcore sound, Silverstein has been rocking stages around the globe for over two decades, and Paul is the heartbeat behind their electrifying performances.šŸŒŽ Hereā€™s the part that left us absolutely floored: earlier this year, around Willā€™s birthday, Paul auctioned off one of his autographed drum sets and donated every single pennyā€”almost $2,000ā€”to Good Will Good Karma. His generosity, paired with Jessā€™s unwavering love for animals, touched our hearts beyond words. Though the donation was made earlier, we couldnā€™t resist celebrating it this Easterā€”it always reminds us of Walnutā€™s adoption and the joy it brought to all of us. Today, Walnut is living his best life with his loving family, and we adore seeing his adventures on Instagram. To Jess and Paul: youā€™ve shown us that kindness comes in many formsā€”whether itā€™s giving a rescue cat a home, supporting our mission, or inspiring others through your actions. Youā€™ve made a lasting impact on all of us and the animals we care for.šŸ™ Letā€™s celebrate this incredible story and the people (and cats!) who make the world brighter. Rock on, Paul, Jess, Walnut, and Hazelnutā€”youā€™ll always have fans here at Good Will Good Karma! Follow Walnutā€™s journey on Instagram, check out Hazelnutā€™s IG fame, and donā€™t forget to listen to Silverstein!
