It’s been a while since I posted a pic of my face, plenty of reasons for that, but I felt I should come say hi and reintroduce myself, particularly to those who don’t know me well.

I’ve been fusing glass for over 17 years and have just celebrated my first year of Stevie Davies Glass Limited.

You’ll find me working, teaching and selling handmade goodies from @createspacewirksworth in Derbyshire. My little shop is where I showcase original handmade gifts and works of art made by myself and my Selected Makers as well as running private workshops and my public programme of creative sessions for all ages.

I’m about halfway through an amazing opportunity, developing my creative practice with funding with @aceagrams (such an honour which I do not take lightly). This project is giving me time, in my head, and with my sketchbooks and lots and lots of glass! 🥰

My Instagram is for me, I’m selfish that way, I like to share what I’m doing and connect with like minded people all who also have an interest in creativity, coffee and sparkles... if you tick those boxes, we can be friends 😄

I am honoured to do quite a bit of work to commission, designing and making abstract sculptural works with a focus on colour and texture, showing my creations all over the country at exhibitions while also making and selling a range of elegant dichroic jewellery.... all this alongside inspiring as many people as possible to make their own glass art through teaching workshops and creating postable kits so you can make at home!

We had a WILD time on Saturday at the Twilight Walk!🐍🐊🌿🐅

This week's #ThankYouThursday is dedicated to all of the amazing people that helped make this year's Twilight Walk a huge success. 🤩🥳

We'd like to thank you each and every one of you that joined the stampede on Saturday and for your fundraising efforts. A big thank you to @dunelmuk for being our headline sponsor for the event, to @lcfc for allowing us to use the @kingpowerofficial stadium, all of the stalls and business that came along, @_owenwarner for joining us, all of the hugely talented entertainers and to all of our wonderful volunteers and marshalls! We couldn't do this event without you all. 👏

We are delighted to share that we have currently raised over £27,000 which is still increasing. This will make a huge difference to our patients and their families. 💞

Here are a few action shots from the day, we'd love to see some of your photos too👇

Wow, what a great weekend it was! The atmosphere, the music, the food, the culture, the entertainment and the very interesting people were all a great experience. I haven’t had this much fun since the previous Riverside Festival and I can’t wait for more outside summertime fun like this. When you enjoy it this much, it’s not even work! ❤️
.
Also I really like this photo of me by Beth @walshypictures this was me doing my best to pose for an artsy shot at Riverside Festival @leicesterfest and Beth worked her magic. Thank you Beth 🙏

Thanks to Mohammed, Simon and the Interiors by Design team who gave us a look round their workshop and showroom this morning.

Behind-the-scenes shots here with the fab Beth Walsh doing her thing.
More coming soon on this super #wigston-based kitchen and bedroom business.

The video clip shows team member Jez cutting boards to size. He's been with the company for around 10 years.
