Brasil, voce tem meu coração. 💚💙💛

I had the amazing opportunity to go to Brasil with my church @awaken_dallas and partnered with an amazing ministry @passandoamacedonia. Together, we ministered to the river communities in the Amazon river and were met by so much love and kindness. Throughout the trip I kept being reminded that the Lord wants all to experience his goodness. It’s an invitation to all, to me, to the church, to the people in the ribeirinhos, to you.

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.”
Psalms 34:8

It’s hard to find the words to share all that God did in the Amazon. But one thing we can say with certainty: the grace and presence of God were evident in every part of this mission trip ⛴️🇧🇷

We slept in hammocks packed together like sardines, woke up covered in bug bites, shared everything, served when we were tired, and kept going when it wasn’t comfortable. And through it all, God sustained us

We watched people give their lives to Jesus. We witnessed healings and miracles right in front of us -including the chief of the indigenous tribe’s son. We were welcomed into churches, homes, and communities with a love and generosity we will never forget. Every man, woman, elder, and child we encountered left something in our hearts. We went to bless them, but they deeply blessed us in return

There are so many stories we now carry, so many testimonies to share, and so many moments that only God could have orchestrated

Let this be your reminder today:

You were created for a purpose.
You have been blessed so that you can bless others.
Share with those in need.
Persevere when it becomes uncomfortable.
Be generous with what God has placed in your hands.
Value what you have.
Love people deeply.
And wherever God sends you, go. ❤️‍🔥
