Kiitos Kosmos 2026 💘 @kosmosoasis @kosmos_festival

Some places simply feel like home, opening up a safe space to express & embrace all parts of yourself. Where queerness isn’t celebrated but quietly invited & embraced. Where you can let you freak flag fly & show up fully self-expressed. Where mainstream divisions like age, gender, language, occupation & race fall away for a few days as we come together as magical movers & music lovers united in the common language of consensual hugs, joyful smiles & ecstatic dance.

This year was my fourth Kosmos journey. My third year co-creating an Opening Ceremony. My second year setting up a cozy tent to share GuateMayan medicine via Rakas Kakaw. It’s been a privilege to watch & take part as the Healing Area has evolved into the Oasis many of us now can’t imagine this festival without.

Kosmos has been an important place for me in my personal journey to find my home & my work in Finland. I’m forever grateful to @wanderwithlaura for inviting me to facilitate at this ”small” festival five years ago. My workshop with cacao was so welcomed & embraced back then; it guided me to begin taking the necessary steps to create Finland’s first company devoted to Mayan Ceremonial Cacao.

Thank you Kosmos for being a home for me; for shaping my career & community in a new homeland; and for reminding me every July of the precious magic of being alive on earth in this moment in time.

Now after serving ~1500 cups of cacao over the course of two four-day festivals; it’s time for a little R&R.

With love & gratitude,
🦄 Nicole

Valentine’s in Finland is all about friend love. And I couldn’t be more grateful for the friends that bring so much love & joy into my life — in Finland & beyond. Many not pictured. Too many to tag you all 🙃🥰

Hyvää ystävänpäivää 🇫🇮

meaning Happy Friend Day 💕

I am especially grateful for all the soul sister friends I’ve connected with since moving to Finland; who have played a huge role in making this place feel like home for me - creating space for me to open up, soften, begin to understand true friendship & most importantly not expect my beloved partner to hold space for every little thing in my heart that needs loving attention. 🙌🏼

The truth is: Finding true friends has not always been easy for me. For a very long time, my personal traumas lead me to become close to people who weren’t always very kind or reciprocal in care & effort. I am still learning & unlearning how to be a good friend. I continue to have my heart broken by cruel behaviors of some of my “friends.” Does anyone else relate?

To the “friends” who haven’t been able to show up for me kindly, with honesty & respect - I am grateful for the lessons you’ve helped me learn.

To the beautiful, magical, sparkly humans in my life today who mirror my deep compassion, kindness & loyalty — thank you friends. You remind me of my inner power, on the days when I’m unable to see it within myself.

Those of you who are true friends, you know who you are. Even if we have been too immersed in our friendship to take photos together; or if you’re one of those friends who don’t like your photos shared publicly 😜 . #respekt ♥️ I love you. Happy Valentine’s Day!

New location for rainy nights tried & tested! Our October fire jam took place under the bridge in… can you guess where? 🌃 The sea, graffitis & trains make a great urban backdrop for spinning, don’t you think! 🔥

We’re not sure yet if there’s going to be a fire jam in November, but follow our ig & fb stories for info!
