POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A little change of direction.

This was all shot on the Sony ZV-E1.

I’ve spent a lot of time shooting on my Blackmagic, and I still love what that camera gives me — especially when it comes to image quality and colour.

But lately, I’ve found myself wanting something smaller, quicker and easier to actually have with me.

The ZV-E1 gives me that.

Being able to take a full-frame camera with me on a family day out, shoot handheld, rely on the autofocus and still come home with footage I genuinely want to edit is exactly what I needed.

It’s not really about one camera being better than the other.

It’s about using the right camera for the way I actually want to create.

Herne Bay with the family. No production. No plan. Just filming what was in front of me. 🎥

And honestly, that’s probably the biggest reason I made the swap.

Follow along for the ride 🔥

Me and my brother @voidrp97 have set ourselves a challenge to not only zone in on our focus for posting but also to help us appreciate the tools we do have and how to make the most of them.

So, expect more content. More structure and more footage using my new @djiglobal osmo mobile 7.

Music For The Soul 🎶

Your wedding doesn’t need to follow traditions. We preach about that enough. But why not plan the ultimate headline gig, curated around the music that’s a part of you and your whole story?

With more subtle nods like:
🎸 Table names drawn from your favourite albums or tracks.
🎤 Décor and signage eched with band logos, artwork, or iconic lyrics.

Then kick it up a noch with:

🥁 Entertainment that feels like a live show. Why not make it one, whether it’s stripped back acoustic or full alt-rock drama.

Check out the entertainment featured in the post: @dirtbagentertainmentagency
And @gravity.theband 🖤

📀 Details & keepsakes like vinyl place cards, lyric menus, or playlists that soundtrack your story.

Like those featured from @foxgloveandblack
And @irregular_signs

From subtle nods to full-blown band-inspired weddings, the possibilities are endless.

A Sleep Token ceremony shrouded in mystery and ethereal beauty.

The dark, dramatic energy of a Bring Me The Horizon reception.

A dreamy, free-spirited Fleetwood Mac celebration.

The post-punk romance of The Cure woven into florals and stationery.

A decadent, gothic Siouxsie and the Banshees inspired atmosphere that feels both haunting and glamorous.

Music is memory. And when your wedding carries the aesthetic of the bands that shaped your hearts, it becomes even more than a day. It becomes your greatest anthem.

So what do you think? 🤔

WHEN TO BOOK YOUR DREAM SUPPLIERS 🖤

Planning your dark wedding isn’t just about the vibe. It’s also about timing. So, if you want your dream suppliers? You gotta move fast.

ESPECIALLY if you’re planning your wedding on one of the highly sought-after dates, you’ll need to book even earlier than usual, sometimes even 2-3years in advance for key suppliers.

Spooky season is the ultimate alternative wedding season. The best venues, photographers, and florists are ALWAYS snapped up quickly.

Why not think of other dates like Friday the 13th. A rare, iconic, and HIGHLY sought-after date. Expect fierce competition for venues and vendors. The same for different witchy dates like Sabbats, Solstices, Eclipses, etc. Peferct, if you are after a ritualistic ceremony, we see you. Or if you are someone who focuses heavily on astrology, both are deeply symbolic and perfect for a wedding. These dates may still be popular, but no where near as popular as the iconic October 31st 🖤

When to Book Your Suppliers for your perfect wedding, with a little insight from some of our TilDeathers 💀

Pro Tip: If your dream vendor is booked? Get on their waiting list. Sh*t happens, and cancellations do occur. Don't ask, don't get!

Who’s the first supplier you locked in? Drop them below! ⬇️

What a welcome for our latest collection 🐍

With that we have had 9 people asking when the collection will be up on our website, the short answer is… SOON! ✨️

We are focusing on currently working through the last of our dresses for our 2024 brides, our wedding season has a little extension allowing for our HalloWeddings. Once we have successfully metaphorically dressed our brides we will have that extra time to work on uploading the new collection online.

Hopefully, you can forgive us and enjoy these photos of Lilith in all her glory 🖤
