Helstar doing a one-off show in Detroit was unexpected but very welcomed. These guys are classic and haven't played here in over 40 years so getting an opportunity to see them outside of a festival setting caught me by surprise. They were awesome, the set was great, the performances were tight, and the venue was easily the smallest venue I've been in. The opening bands were some pretty solid heavy metal bands from the Detroit area. Always great to support the local scene! I even managed to get the LPs I brought signed, so I'd say it was a resounding success.

Also first new post with the new camera and I'd say it's a pretty substantial improvement!

My longest post yet! Forever grateful to these boys, I wouldn’t be posting these if it weren’t for them! If you haven’t heard of them yet, you must be really cozy under that rock! Give them a listen, and catch their last show of the year on the 24th, with Helstar at the Corktown Tavern!!
