💛 OUR YOUTH DESERVE OPPORTUNITY, NOT VIOLENCE! As a mother, educator, and Ward 7 community advocate, I believe violence prevention begins long before a crisis. It starts with education, mentorship, meaningful opportunities, and communities willing to invest in our young people. I’m excited to share that my church, Liberty Mission SDA Church, is launching its T.A.R.G.E.T.S.S. Gun Violence Prevention Program! This FREE 7-week community empowerment series is designed for young people ages 12–21, focusing on: ✅ Conflict resolution & anger management ✅ Positive role models & mentorship ✅ Career development & employment opportunities ✅ Respect, accountability & community leadership 💵 Monetary compensation is provided for each session attended! 📅 Sundays, October 25 – December 6 ⏰ 5:00–6:30 PM 📍 1105 46th Street NE, Washington, DC 📞 (301) 675-3513 We cannot simply talk about ending gun violence. We must create pathways toward brighter futures. Invest in our youth. Strengthen our communities. Save lives. Please share with a young person, parent, educator, or neighbor who could benefit! #Ward7DC #GunViolencePrevention #YouthEmpowerment #CommunityMatters #SaferDC

❤️ THIS IS WHAT COMMUNITY LOOKS LIKE! ❤️ Friday night in Ward 7, surrounded by good people, live music, and the unmistakable sounds of DC’s own GO-GO! 🥁🎶 Tonight, Patrick and I attended the Community Rally hosted by We The Seniors at the Safeway on 40th Street NE, and what a wonderful evening celebrating our community! And the highlight of my night? My baby Patrick made his impromptu GO-GO DEBUT on the tambourine! 🥁😂❤️ A little piece of DC culture being passed down to the next generation! These are the moments that remind me why I love Ward 7. Our culture, our music, our neighbors, and our shared experiences are what make this community HOME. Thank you to We The Seniors, the musicians, vendors, and everyone who helped bring our community together. And DC, before you call it a night, LOOK UP! 🌙 The moon is absolutely beautiful tonight. Take a moment to appreciate the little things. Good music. Good people. Beautiful fall weather. That’s a Friday night well spent! ❤️ Ward 7, I LOVE US! #Ward7DC #DCGoGo #CommunityMatters #WeTheSeniors #SimplyStamper

🏗️ BUILDING WARD 7, BY WARD 7! Last night, I attended the RFK Stadium Redevelopment Project community meeting hosted by the Marshall Heights Community Development Organization (MHCDO). It was an informative evening learning about the redevelopment plans and hearing from Ms. Pamela Dickerson about how small businesses and contractors can position themselves for future contracting and procurement opportunities. I also had the pleasure of connecting with several local business owners, contractors, and community stakeholders. As billions of dollars in investment move toward Ward 7, we must ensure that our local businesses are not simply watching development happen around them but are prepared, included, and positioned to benefit from it. Economic development should create pathways to entrepreneurship, employment, generational wealth, and long-term community prosperity. Ward 7 deserves more than investment. We deserve participation, ownership, and opportunity. Thank you to MHCDO for bringing our community together for this important conversation! #Ward7 #RFKRedevelopment #SmallBusiness #EconomicEquity #StamperForward7

WARD 7 DESERVES INVESTMENT, NOT JUST PROMISES. The sun rises and sets every day in Ward 7. For generations, residents have built lives, raised families, and sustained communities despite decades of disinvestment. Budgets are moral documents. They reveal what we prioritize, who we invest in, and whose needs are too often overlooked. Ward 7 deserves equitable investment, economic opportunity, and meaningful community participation. My latest commentary examines the future of BENCO Shopping Center, previous redevelopment plans, and the proposed $167,000 investment in a Benning Road Main Street initiative. But this conversation goes beyond BENCO. It’s about three fundamental principles: ACCESS. Residents deserve timely information about investments affecting their neighborhoods. OWNERSHIP. Longtime residents and local businesses deserve opportunities to participate in and benefit from economic development. COMMUNITY VOICE. Engagement must happen BEFORE decisions are made, not after. Revitalization should strengthen existing communities, not displace the very people who sustained them. Ward 7 does not need to be rescued. We deserve to be respected, resourced, and reinvested in. Read my latest commentary: The Future of BENCO Shopping Center. What does equitable investment look like in YOUR neighborhood? #Ward7 #BENCO #EquitableDevelopment #CommunityEngagement #BenningRoad

My firstborn. My oldest. My heart walking outside my body. 💙🥹 Today, PJ is off to his first school retreat! Zip-lining, s’mores, bonding with classmates, and making memories! We packed last night, and this morning I walked him to the Metro. Watching him grow into himself has been such a beautiful part of motherhood. He’s officially a TWEEN! At 11, he may look older, but I remind myself he’s still a little boy learning, growing, and finding his way. I’m so proud of the young man he’s becoming. Enjoy being 11, PJ! There’s no rush to grow up. ❤️ #ProudMom #BoyMom #Motherhood #RaisingBoys #TweenLife

NEW ESSAY | FLETCHER-JOHNSON: PUBLIC LAND, PUBLIC INVESTMENT, AND THE RESPONSIBILITY TO GET IT RIGHT As a former Fletcher-Johnson Task Force member, former ANC 7C06 Commissioner, and current Marshall Heights homeowner, I have serious questions about the proposed redevelopment of this historic Ward 7 property. We’re talking about approximately 15 acres of publicly owned land, proposed $1 land transfers, substantial taxpayer investments, and decisions that could shape our community for generations. Let me be clear: I SUPPORT redevelopment. I also recognize and respect the years of work by ANC 7E, community stakeholders, and residents who have advocated for Fletcher-Johnson’s future. But supporting redevelopment does not mean abandoning our responsibility to demand transparency, accountability, and lasting public benefits. Public land is a public trust. Public investment demands public accountability. I invite Ward 7 residents and ALL D.C. residents to read my latest Medium essay, examine the issues, and join the conversation. Our communities deserve to understand what’s being negotiated in our name. https://medium.com/simply-stamper/fletcher-johnson-public-land-public-investment-and-the-responsibility-to-get-it-right-e067a662e06b

Today, while out on our walk past the Deanwood Library, we ran into one of the coolest DC Public Library employees, Mr. Virgil Armstrong! 📚💛🖤 To my fellow DC residents, especially those in Northeast DC, take a moment to stop by the Deanwood Library and thank Mr. Armstrong for his leadership, dedication, and service to our community. It’s people like Mr. Armstrong who help make Ward 7 special! 👏🏾 Thank you, Mr. Armstrong! We appreciate you! #ThankYouMrArmstrong #Ward7 #Deanwood #DCPublicLibrary #CommunityMatters

🗳️ I CAST MY VOTE! DEMOCRACY IN ACTION! There is something incredibly powerful about exercising your right to vote, especially when you have the opportunity to write your own name on the ballot! ✍🏾 Today, I proudly cast my vote and wrote in PATRICIA STAMPER for ANC 7E04! As a Ward 7 resident, homeowner, mother, educator, and community advocate, I believe leadership begins with showing up, staying engaged, and doing the work. Our neighborhoods deserve representation that is ACCESSIBLE, ACCOUNTABLE, and ACTION-ORIENTED. In this Reel, I’m demonstrating how to cast a write-in vote for ANC 7E04. My name will not appear preprinted on the ballot, so residents who wish to support my candidacy must write in PATRICIA STAMPER in the designated space. I also voted YES on Initiative Measure 86, supporting the prohibition of force-feeding birds to enlarge their livers and banning the sale and distribution of products resulting from that practice. Voting is more than selecting names on a ballot. It’s an opportunity to express our values, shape public policy, and determine who represents our communities. Whether you’re voting early, voting by mail, or preparing for Election Day on November 3, I encourage every eligible voter to participate in our democracy. Ward 7, our voices matter. Our neighborhoods matter. Our future matters. Let’s continue building a community where residents are heard, families are supported, and leadership remains connected to the people it serves. 💛🖤 PATRICIA STAMPER | WRITE-IN FOR ANC 7E04 Our Voices • Our City • Our Future #PatriciaStamper #ANC7E04 #Ward7DC #DCVotes #WriteInCandidate

Oh marvelous Monday has arrived again. This week is about setting a new morning routine for the #StamperBoys because we are working towards zero tardies and on time attendance! PJ expressed that he wanted to be on time this week and Patrick not to be left out of course wants perfect attendance to earn a dress down day. That means the Stamper Family needs to be walking out of the house on time every weekday morning! As a single mother and educator I know for a fact routine is vital to ensure improved behavior and more regulated children. Plus I am blessed to have before care and after care this school year! *Insert praise dance* #StamperFamily #StamperBoys #StameprOnTheMove #StamperForWard7
