I’ve been on the campaign trail for State Superintendent of Public Instruction for well over a year. These last three days away from home, running on just a few hours of sleep, were worth every moment. Since last March, I’ve traveled across California bringing families and amazing people together. We are on the front lines fighting for our children and our future. Fighting the good fight. Linked arms. The support this week was overwhelming. College Republicans up before dawn, standing shoulder to shoulder. Friends from across California stepping in. Fellow board members. Our Mama and Papa Bears showing up strong. I am truly grateful. Thank you. That unity says it all. California is ready for real change. What unites us is simple and non-negotiable: We want schools focused on reading, writing, math, and real preparation for life after high school. We want parental rights—God-given, constitutional, and protected respected, not overridden. We want safety and fairness for every child, including strong Title IX protections for our daughters. We want ideologies out of the classroom and education back in. I never planned to enter politics. Six years ago, I was called to step up, and I haven’t looked back except to thank God for every moment along the way. When they said we couldn’t have a seat at the table, we took the whole table and made sure it serves our children. This is our endorsement because this is our campaign!! Thank you @ca_gop. Thank you, delegates!! Honored to link arms. We are not backing down. Not now. Not ever. California families are rising, and we are taking our schools back. I am beyond grateful for every single person who showed up, stepped in, and stood with us. To everyone who gave their time, their energy, and their heart, thank you. This movement is because of you. There’s something to be said about growing up in a water tower town. You know the kind where everyone shows up on a Thursday night, the air smells like fresh-cut hay, and the Dairy Bowl isn’t just a football game… it’s a hometown tradition. 🐄🏈 This year, we got to play a small part in keeping that tradition alive.
