When you start a band, you can’t underestimate how much WHERE you start matters.

The people who show up for you. The community that takes you in. The well you keep coming back to. Those things become foundational and can give you the confidence to carry what you’ve built out into the world.

We owe so much to the city of Montreal.

We came here on a feeling, that feeling turned to love, and that love has been returned to us a hundredfold.

Playing our third headline show on the Montreal Jazz Festival main stage is something we’ll carry for the rest of our lives. Spending that night with all of you, in the middle of the city we call home and at this extraordinary festival, honestly felt like a dream.

Thank you to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make this show happen @brijittine @lewis.guitars @felix_desrochers @opak.music @thisfiction. To our guests @klopelgag, @leifvollebekk, @davidwbinney, @lisa.iwanycki, @warholdervish. And thank you — from the bottom of our hearts — to every single person who came out, sang with us, and lifted the night up.

We wouldn’t be here without you.

🌸Flowers Wild Abound🌸 out September 12th

This is the first album I’ve made with the harp at its center. These songs speak in the language of wildflowers, living in quiet spaces and offered in the simple hope of beauty.

This was a labor of love shaped over many years. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who walked alongside me during the process, especially Sarah Pagé, who co-produced the album with me and helped throughout every step with patience, generosity, and presence.

I got my first harp in the fall of 2019, after dreaming of the instrument for ages. Two years later, I began making this album, having fully fallen for the harp’s voice. I wrote with a kind of urgency I hadn’t felt in a long while. I finished old songs, reworked forgotten fragments, and discovered new ones as I leaned into the instrument and let it lead. It was a balm, steeping in the wilderness within its strings.

I’m excited to share more in the coming weeks
