You’re invited to Drake’s birthday party… well, not exactly 😂🦉

But we ARE celebrating the 6 God the right way this Friday at BAD @ Brulee with an OVO-inspired R&B happy hour. From Take Care to For All the Dogs, we’re running through the catalog, so come ready to sing your heart out like Drake personally did you wrong 😭

We had 81 reservations last week, and something tells me this Friday might get a little out of hand. Grab your reservation, bring your people, and come celebrate Champagne Papi’s birthday with us. 🥂

You know that saying, “It takes a village”? I’m a FIRM believer in that.

I uplift as much as I can. I help as much as I can. I show up for people whenever I can because GOD KNOWS the amount of times people have shown up for me.

Quick story time…

I purchased 3 additional printers in Pompano Beach, Florida, and needed to get them back to Chicago. Through my network, I was introduced to @warrencutz, who agreed to transport them for me. I shipped my key to @tonioskits, and he was basically FORCED 😂 to help Warren’s driver get these huge printers loaded.

My original plan? Fly down and help move them myself.

But GOD IS ALSO FUNNY…

The ONE day Warren could make the move happen was the same day I was scheduled for a 6-HOUR surgery.

My surgery was supposed to start at 11 AM. The driver was supposed to arrive at 10 AM.

Y’ALL… I WAS STRESSING.

Imagine preparing for a 6-hour surgery while coordinating THREE commercial printers being loaded onto a truck hundreds of miles away. I’m responding to texts, checking my phone, making sure everything is handled… while waiting to be taken into an operating room.

Then my surgery gets pushed back to 1 PM.

And somehow, in those extra two hours, everything came together.

The printers were loaded. The truck was on its way. It was DONE.

When they gave me the anxiety medication before wheeling me into the operating room, I cried.

Not because I was scared. I cried because of the RELIEF.

Because at that moment, I realized how blessed I was to have people who showed up for me when I physically couldn’t show up for myself.

And THAT is entrepreneurship.

People see the finished projects, the growth, the new equipment, the wins…but they don’t always see the village behind it.

The relationships. The network. The people willing to answer the phone, grab a key, move a printer, make a connection, or simply SHOW UP.

Sometimes entrepreneurship is literally responding to a text 5 minutes before being injected with anesthesia because business does not stop just because life is happening.

Build your network. Pour into people. Help people when you can.

Because one day, you’re going to need your village too. And I’ll NEVER forget MINE!
