I genuinely don’t think we could’ve picked a better way to see the fall colors in Utah 🥹🍂

Riding side by sides through the mountains surrounded by these colors was an absolute core memory!

Shoutout to @wasatchexcursions 🤘🏼

The "Spontaneous Hike" Got a Little TOO Spontaneous⛰️🥾

0 9 - 1 2 - 2 0 2 6

I woke up that Saturday morning and thought: "Let's go for a hike!" Little did I know I'd end up on a 10,000ft mountain! I couldn't see my house from there, but I could see mountains for miles!

Location: Devil's Castle Summit, Alta, Utah

Our little family had the BEST ATV adventure! 🤍🏔️ And yes… even Grandma got out there and made it happen! 🙌🏼😂

Such a fun experience for the whole family, and we seriously can’t recommend @wasatchexcursions in Midway, Utah enough! 🏔️✨

The views, the adventure, the memories… SO worth it! 🏁🤍

“Boring.” Sure.

Twenty minutes from your driveway, even on a random Tuesday, this is what a weekend looks like once you actually live here. It’s just Tuesday. Or Saturday. Whatever day you decide you don’t feel like being inside.

We rode with @wasatchexcursions for this one, but honestly, most people around here don’t rent anything. They just own a UTV the same way other people own a lawnmower. It’s not an activity, it’s just Tuesday.

This is what’s actually happening living in Utah County while someone’s telling you there’s nothing to do here.

Comment SUMMER if you want the real list of what’s worth doing around here this summer.

And if you’re moving here and want the version that’s not a brochure, comment RELOCATE and I’ll send you the guide.

But yeah. Boring 🥱

Turns out, the best family memories usually start with, “This wasn’t my idea.” ❤️🤣😅

Thank you @wasatchexcursions for the adventure! 🗻

Tried posting last night but captions in video didn’t load. Better luck this time! Can you see captions? 🤞

if you’re in Utah, we’ve got the perfect day up in the Midway area for you! Would YOU enjoy a day like this? If so, LIKE this post so we know to share more like it! 👍

Here’s what you’re going to want to do:

• Bike the Deer Creek Trail in the morning.

• Cool off afterwards with a paddle on Deer Creek Reservoir (life jacket and invasive species sticker required)

• Jump on the obstacles with @rainbowbayaquapark water trampoline park. This adventure is on repeat every summer but now we have no kids at home to enjoy it with.😢

• Soar over Deer Creek with a @zipline_utah adventure . Our family visited for the first time in 2025 and loved it!

•Head up the mountain for a super fun UTV adventure with @wasatchexcursions with amazing overlook views of the lake and valley below. We’ve done this five times. It never gets old.

Okay, here’s where it gets tricky as you’ll be super dusty from the utv tour BUT nothing that a sink, a couple body wipes, a change of clothes and a new hat can’t take care of.

• At this point you’ve worked up an appetite so @cafegalleriamidway for the pear and Gorgonzola salad is in order. Their summer concert series on the patio are some of our fav chill summer memories. @midway_mercantile is another fav restaurant.

• stop by @dairykeen or @ballerinafarmstore for a frozen treat.

• Finish the night at @sohosaunas . This place is pristine and so clean. Shane has taken such pride in creating this expeience. You’ll definitely want to shower inside before entering the sauna area. We had such a relaxing time going from hot soak to cold plunge to sauna, on repeat, for our entire 2-hour session. Matt doesn’t usually like being hot but we both absolutely loved it so much.

You may also want to check out @thecraterathomestead . Our family had mixed feelings on this adventure but it definitely is unique. Or visit the hot pools at homestead.

And that’s a perfect day in Midway. Or, even better, stretch it out over a weekend! SAVE, Share & Enjoy!

Save this for your adventurous family the next time you’re in Northern Utah 🤍

Snowmobiling with @wasatchexcursions was one of the most unforgettable adventures we’ve done as a family in Utah. From start to finish, they make it so easy- they provide all the gear (helmets, goggles, boots, suits, gloves, and gear for kids), have bathrooms at base camp, and shuttle you up in a side-by-side straight to the snowmobiles so you’re not hauling equipment through the snow.

Our guide Lauren (@lpfeif ) was absolutely amazing- so great with the kids, incredibly knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and comfortable. If you book with Wasatch, we highly recommend asking for her.

A few things we loved:
🏔️ Riding high in the mountains where it truly feels like you’re in the clouds
🧤 Heated handlebars for everyone (such a game changer in the cold)
👨‍👩‍👧 Family-friendly with gear for kids
🚙 Easy transport to and from the trails
❄️ Beautiful snowy trails and wide open mountain views
