BLOOD IN THE HONEY 🍯🩸

wrote a song about weird men. wrote it at 2am in LA after the files came out. recorded it at 10am to 8 track tape. almost the whole track is one organ that had pedal bass, synth, keys and a drum machine.

@daveybadi.uk engineered and mixed it to perfection
@gray_wave added some real drums that brought it alive
@wasatchstudiosla tracked those drums to tape so nice
@matthewokuda and dani made a SICK music video/album art

we're in a weird timeline. keep making stuff and experimenting and having fun. there is hope yet!

@helloechomusic laid down some sounds at the amazingly analogous @wasatchstudiosla with Papa Dave the Master … a fantastically positive presence and technician , thanks for sharing your labor of love with 2” tapes and tubes galore @mgsahno got them juicy bass tones with the hoffner and @nutbaumsaway destroyed his parts … I made great efforts to ruin everything with my guitar playing but I think we’ll have some good basics from this iiiirrreeegaaahdlesss

some impaled obsession is out everywhere now. Sometimes before I’ve fallen fully asleep I see myself in a pitch black void being suspended in mid air by giant metal spears. This and love.

Produced by Matteo Debole and Sebastian Jones
Drums by Elias Williamson
Bass, additional instruments, and mixing by Sebastian Jones
Mastered by Omar Akrouche
Cover art by Don Juan Santaolalla
