#throwbackthursday #tbt It's hard to believe that it was now 4 years ago in 2021 when we were gearing up to showcase our development work of a brand new theatrical piece "Beauty Will Save the World". 😊 We were able to raise a little over $1,000 for the local charity Restoring Hope with a mission “to love and serve the youth and young adults in the Ottawa area who are experiencing homelessness, are marginalized and/or are exploited”. 🥰 "Beauty Will Save the World" is now a completed musical audio drama in 11 episodes featuring 21 voice artists, released in 2024. Visit BeautyWillSave.ca or our linktree to find out more or listen to clips and full episodes.

This prop plays an important role in our next show, Cliffhanger. When purchased, it was originally Chopin, but its fate was to transform into Socrates. Paul S Washer, who is also a member of the Cliffhanger cast, has covered the prop with fiberglass, and painted it bronze. While giving Chopin a makeover Paul widened his nose, made him a bigger forehead, and added a beard. Finally, Socrates is ready for his spotlight. Cliffhanger, a thriller, opening on October 17 and running until November 3 - tickets at 613-233-8948 or at www.ottawalittletheatre.com #CliffhangerOLT #CommunityTheatre #TheatreOttawa — at Ottawa Little Theatre.
