No AI in sight. 🙅🏻‍♀️ I ran this gift guide for the first time last year, and I’m excited to be bringing it back for round two this season! The thing I like about having a website and a platform is that it’s easy to share it with others. I always feel like local creatives don’t get the attention they deserve. Overwhelmed by non-Canadian products and content, it can be hard to break through the noise. But if my platform, in it’s own way, can break through even part of that — why not share? Spread the wealth, y’know? There are so many heartbreaking problems in the world that I’m powerless to solve. Working for my community is one thing that makes me feel like I’m using my powers for good. This digital gift guide is my way of sharing my platform with creatives I respect and admire, giving us all a little boost. Check out these local creatives for your holiday shopping this year. There’s tons of talent in Toronto — these items are some of my favourites, but there’s so much more! 🎁 Comment below with your faves or what you’re hoping Santa brings you. If you make and sell items that creatives gravitate towards (see slide 3 for examples) we'd love to take a look. Products will be listed on our website with a photo, the product name, brand name, and link to purchase.
