I thought I was ready for the unboxing, but the @agelocer_official “Manta Tourbillon” still managed to leave me stunned. This watch is such an unusual mix of mechanical watchmaking and visual art and seeing it in person makes all the details feel even more special. The fully transparent sapphire crystal case gives you a clear view of the in-house Caliber 9301, while the two manta rays on the tourbillon bridge add a beautiful artistic touch. The fact is they are made with 3D relief engraving and mirror polishing, and as the tourbillon turns, the rays seem to glide through the movement. It’s the kind of detail that makes you want to stop and watch for a while. On the wrist, the 40mm case and 9.5mm thickness give it a sleek, balanced look. Obligatory Window Wrist Shot for the flight home, ofcourse it had to he the Tudor FXD for the flight too. Today's watch is an internet find that I discovered on eBay and while I always like the Russian diver and Corduba styles offered by Invicta, I didn't think I could wear that large of a size so what I saw this one at its extremely low price point with its extremely cool strap open heart movement and all the complications for well under $50 I thought it was worth a shot and I could have always returned it but as you can see I did not and for obvious reasons. Well it has no luminous property, the bright yellow numbers and hour markers are easily readable in low-light conditions and nothing's perfect.

Today's watch is the RGMT Field Master automatic in the battleship Gray version representing the US Navy. It is the first model of this brand that I acquired but its quality construction, unique design, and the $100 submarine pen shaped like a Polaris level submarine cinched it for me. At a price point well below $200 six value pays and the PIN it was a no-brainer and of course the excellent representation by the great @jenvickofficial and @timtempletv on ShopHQ made it an offer too good to receive and I'm glad I didn't.
