Let’s be real, if Hal Jordan wore a watch, it would probably be a pilot’s watch. On the HBO’s Lanterns, Hal gets the ring in 1996, so my picks would be an IWC 3711 Doppelchronograph or a 1994 Breitling Aerospace, though eagle-eyed internet sleuths have suggested that he wears a Benrus field watch on the show.

But I don’t own any of those.

Best I can do is this green F-91w with a vaguely Green Lantern coded background.

Also shoutout to Poorna Jagannathan and her captivating performance as Zoe Macon, a role that is in no way helping to alleviate my debilitating weakness for cougars. Respectfully.

I was pretty bummed to learn about @kavinsky passing yesterday. I only discovered him in the last year or so, but his music got me interested in synthwave. He wasn't much older than me. Hug your loved ones.

What a weekend at Fun Spot Atlanta and what a final visit!

Going into the weekend, my only goal was to get as many rides on ArieForce One as possible. I never imagined I’d end up riding every seat in every row! Every seat had its own personality, and that’s one of the things that makes this coaster so special!

Since ArieForce One opened in 2023, I’ve made it a point to visit Fun Spot Atlanta at least once every year. Each trip has been a little different, but every one has reminded me just how special this coaster really is!

Just as memorable as the coaster itself were the people! Throughout the weekend, I had the chance to ride and chat with so many fellow coaster enthusiasts! Whether we were comparing favorite seats, sharing stories from other parks, or simply enjoying marathon rides together, it made an already incredible weekend even better!

With Fun Spot Atlanta closing next week, this visit was especially meaningful! It’s always sad to see another amusement park close its gates. Every park leaves behind its own memories, traditions, and community, and Fun Spot Atlanta is no exception!

While the future of ArieForce One is still uncertain, I’m hopeful this incredible coaster gets a second life at another park! It deserves to keep thrilling riders for years to come, and I’d love to have the chance to ride it again wherever it ends up!

#SubSaturday ☕️🐸

For the past few months I’ve been diving into the world of coffee learning the art of brewing espresso and even taking a latte art class lol (still a working progress as you can see 😂).

Just like this watch hobby, I find myself constantly looking for new ways to be creative, and a lot of that inspiration comes from the #watchfam 🫡

My wife has definitely been enjoying a fresh latte every morning and a great sport even when they don’t turn out quite as planned. Thankfully, each cup seems to get a little better than the last. 🙏🏽🙌🏽
