Counting down the minutes before I sprint over to Austin for two incredible watch shows this weekend. This post is about @minutesandhourswatches. The best part of watch shows isn’t just about the watches, it is also about catching up with old friends and making new ones. My friends made these watches and I can’t wait to see them and make some new ones at @minutesandhourswatches in Austin this weekend.

I’m grateful that Brendan ( @deadbeatseconds ), cringe though he may be, gave me the opportunity to service this beautiful watch for him. Go check him out on @watchcringe and give the boys a follow. They didn’t ask me to shout them out, I just wanted to show some love for one of the best pods in the game! Thanks for watching, as always.

Hi all,

Mike here.

Today was a quiet day for meetings and emails at my home office in Texas.
Tomorrow I’ll have New York City as my backdrop and I’ll be out and about for more IG content but as it’s my takeover of instagram and I’m sitting still for a moment, I thought I’d show you a little bit of what we’ve been up to in the US over these past 8 months since I joined the team.

The first thing that Mike and I talked about was the community aspect of CW and how special it is. We have our own forum that’s an incredible resource. It’s where our archive is housed and where so many collectors have a safe space to discuss the brand. Facebook continues to be a place where CW enthusiasts and aficionados share stories and images alongside insta, Twitter, Reddit and watch crunch … We know that the world can understand and see every facet of the brand when online but we both wanted the community to touch and feel our quality. We wanted people to see how and why the light catcher case got its name, turn the bezel, wind the crown etc and so, I set out a plan to tour cities and States that we know loves the brand but we also know that a lot of the collectors had never seen our watches for real before.

It has been amazing and as you scroll through these slides I want you to know how humbled we are for the outpouring of support you’ve given me aswell as the entire CW family that work in England and Switzerland.

I also wanted to thank all of the groups who have welcomed me to your home cities. This is just the beginning for us and we have so many more places to visit aswell as building a home of our own here in Texas so you can come and see us.

Enjoy the pics and please let me know if you’d like us to come and see you.

Thank you again
