High tea with my better half today. Hamilton Milton (circa 1948) gets some well awaited wrist time.

It’s been a while since my cherished Baltic MR01 graced the feed, so I’m making sure to time it on #microbrandmonday! Not that I'm sure Baltic can still be categorized as one considering their impressive growth over the years. To me, the 36MM x 44MM proportions on the MR01 still manages to look near perfect for how I want my watches to wear, and the standard beads of rice bracelet provides a phenomenal fit on the wrist. Even after experiencing a few types of bracelets such as Oyster, H-link, and Mesh/Milanese, the look presented by the Beads of Rice style remains my favourite! 💖

Looking at what @balticwatches have released recently, I have to say they have done incredibly well with one smash hit after another such as the Hermétique Tourer (field watch with 3D ‘super-indexes’ crafted out of Super-Luminova BGW9), Prismic (dress-style ‘cocktail’ watch with prism-shaped indexes), and the all-new blue & cream Tricompax released in collaboration with the Tour Auto 2024. They always nail the proportions which favour smaller sizes too, and I’m becoming more tempted to experience another model from their extensive lineup each passing day. Can’t wait to see what they will come up with next! 💥

For #earthday I thought it'd be nice to highlight my watches that run on sunlight.

2 of these watches have served me the better part of a decade without a battery replacement. I tend to wear them most while walking my dog, but they can also be seen on my wrist while at the gym and during military duties.

Who else has love for solar watches?

#watchfam is #seamaster Sunday a thing? If not, can it be?

Aside from a couple days of rain the weather has been sensational in Central Florida these last few weeks. Sunny, no clouds, but not blistering hot. Enjoying it today with my Seamaster and my dog.

#NWA 😁

I teased this last week, but apparently overnight shipping only means overnight Monday through Friday.

As usual, my photography skills leave something to be desired, but my #grailwatch is here, a #rolexexplorer #14270

Thanks to @thewatchtradingpost for a smooth transaction and fair deal on my trade. With this beauty on my wrist, I think it's safe to say that I'm done for a good while.

Here is another format of presenting 2023 wstches.
I missed some more watches that I got rid of after impulsive purchases in 2023 😅

My dad's #5513 making a rare appearance to close out 2023.

We weren't on great terms when he passed, and it's been hard to think of him in a positive light since. As such, I hardly wear it.

This morning during yoga, the teacher reminded me of a quote by Maya Angelou: "If you must look back, do so forgivingly. If you will look forward, do so prayerfully. But the wisest course would be to be present in the present gratefully."

I've chosen this as my mantra going into the new year; and in my first act of looking back forgivingly, I put on my dad's watch.

As far as the present goes, I have tagged a number of people I've had the pleasure of meeting and/or getting to know this year. I say Namaste to 2023 and enter 2024, happy to call you all friends.
