American and western STUPIDITY at its absolute finest! Bravo. So proud to be living in America 🤣🤣🤣 The future generation of delusional and psychotic women. Do their babies get dumber or does it go back a generation? Guess who voted?! This is what happens when a few screws are loose and you get dropped a couple of times as a kid. #liberal #lgbt #mentalhealth #fyp #explore

Run Hide Fight: Infidels
In the first part of this year, I worked to help make this movie over a six week stretch. Throughout production, I made lifelong friendships and memories with the cast and crew. We worked our tails off to finish making this movie, that being said, I will do my best to be as objective in this review as possible, but I want to make it clear just how hard the cast and crew worked.
On a technical level, this films works well because of the talent behind the camera. Cinematographer Kris Kimlin avoids the stereotypical cheap look most movies from independent filmmakers with ease. He utilizes both natural and natural-looking light with dynamic camera movements to place the audience in the thick of everything. This, combined with well-timed cuts and the intense score, make for a fun, pulse-pounding time.
The cast all do a good job in their respective roles too. Newcomer JC Kilcoyne leads the cast alongside the generational talent that is Jonathan Majors and holds his own with the movie star. Majors gives it his all in this role, proving that he’s ready to once again be a leading man. Tyler Aser as Lizzy Dupree is the heart and soul of this film, showcasing her emotional range. James Bingham as P.J. manages to steal every scene he’s in with his loud, obnoxiously funny take as Devlin’s veteran roommate P.J. Lastly, Stephen Hailo as the villainous ISIS Leader Ibrahim manages to come across as both charismatic and a true believer in the terrorist organization’s fanatical prophecies.
Some of the writing feels a little wooden, and there’s multiple drawn out monologues. There are also a few awkward cuts and a few moments where the low budget makes itself known.
Overall, the finished product of this film was not just better than I expected, it felt like a true throwback to the 80’s and 90’s popcorn action flicks that I love and is worth the watch for some good old-fashioned fun.
What are your thoughts on this film?
