#NLA (New Loan Alert) 🚨
(Yep, that’s a loaner 🤩.
And I hate that it isn’t mine 🫤).
I’m in this space because I like watches. But the people I’ve met have made me love this hobby/passion/madness/insanity (?) so much more. I do love it when people come together because of a shared passion.
.
You find another that enjoys watches (@arkenwatchco gets the credit for this friendship), get chatting on here and suddenly, you are friends. Was great to meet you over the @britishwatchmakers day weekend and cheers for sharing, @buzz_watches. I might have to superglue this onto my wrist to keep it.
.
Ever got a loaner from a friend? What’s your story? In the comments please! 🙏🏽

Wow - what an incredible day it was yesterday at #britishwatchmakersday - I’ve only been part of this community for a short time but it just blows me away how friendly everyone is! Met a lot of wonderful people, put faces to Instagram names, oh and saw some stunning watches!

Already counting down the days until next year!

Ok, so this had to be one of the best days I’ve had as a member of the this community. @britishwatchmakers Day was something else. The watches were amazing, and I will get to those. But, the people in the community, the collectors and those in the industry, are what make it so fulfilling. I was surprised by how many folks I saw today that I knew from instagram and never met, people who were already friends, and new friends I met for the first time. I was so exhausted all day, and I’m sorry for anyone who was talking to me as I was losing my voice…but the sheer joy of this incredible show kept me going. It’s obvious to me that the British Watchmaking community is special. Anyway…here is the most ultimate collection of #ChrisPose ‘s that has ever been. 🤣 🫶🏻

Thank you to the wonderful @wornandwound and @arkenwatchco for getting us together this evening before the @britishwatchmakers day.
That was a fun evening. Glad to have also seen a few from yesterday and made a few new mates tonight!
