$The JLC Duometre Chronograph visiblizes different dimensions of time. “Duometre” means that two timekeeping mechanisms operate independently within the case: the running time and the chronograph. Each side has its own power source. The dial reflects this duality in a symmetrical layout. Left side tells the time, right side is for the chrono. Each side has its own power-reserve indicator. The chronograph is an elegant monopusher. A single pusher is used to start, stop, and reset. A flashing second hand makes fractions of a second down to 1/6 visible. The watch’s running time measurement offers the opposite: It is particularly unhurried, with a display of day and night, as well as the current phase of the moon. Not only is this concept beautiful, but so is its execution. The Duometre Chronograph is a true concept watch: It displays the different levels of time, from a fraction of a second to the moon’s journey. Thank you JLC-Boutique Berlin for the experience.
