Today I’m wearing this beautiful and unusual Maestro Launch Edition from @pedralwatches that I got as a gift from Mr Pedral himself at @stockholmtime2026 Watch Fair last Saturday. He surprised me by taking out two watches, he put one on my wrist and the other one my hand and said “which one do you like the most?”. I thought that he just asked for my opinion, but instead he said “take it, it’s yours. No strings attached, I just want you to have it”. What a great surprise! He is so passionated about this thing of ours, you can just tell by the way he talks about watches and how he takes inspiration to his designs. Such an inspiring and humble human being, and I’m not saying that just because he gave me this watch. He has been this genuine and passionated since the first time I met him in the @nordicwatchawards exactly one year ago. You can genuinely tell that he is not doing it for the sake of money and success, he just wants people to wear his passion and vision on their wrist. Thank you so much brother, I will wear it in good health and always keep it to remind myself of how our passion and love for mechanical timepieces brings people together and makes new eternal friendships.

What Swatch collaboration is your favourite, Audemars Piguet? Omega? Blancpain? I really like the previous Omega and the Blancpain collab! I’m not sure about the AP collab yet, maybe I’ll like them when I see them IRL, or if @wristbuddys makes a killer strap kit!

Looking forward to seeing the new Rolex OP with its fresh colorful motif dial at @nymansur1851 soon. I've always been drawn to the OP series due to its kaleidoscope of dial colors and lack of a date complication. For a watch collector like myself, it's great to have pieces that enable quick time setting and can be worn on the go without fussing over the date.
