Can’t believe it’s been just over a month since my last Ironman. There was so much work I put in on the bike to prepare for this race, and seeing that effort pay off made it all worth it.

It truly takes a village—not just for race day, but throughout the entire year. I’m so grateful to my family, friends, and coaches for helping me get here. The encouragement, patience, and support through all those hours of training meant more than you know.

I’m proud of what I accomplished, but I feel like I still have more to prove at this distance. I called this my last Ironman but maybe I have one more in me.

Six Gap in Dahlonega, Georgia. First attempt. ⛰️🚲

Sometimes the shortest distance to the top is a pedal stroke at a time.

Enjoy the view from time to time. 🏞️

mountain bike race was on my bingo card for 2026 so when @margaretmcgill asked if I wanted to join her for chequamegon 40, I couldn’t pass it up

p.s. also hopped in my first cyclocross race (didn’t even think to put that on the bingo card)

p.p.s. just a few more squares to check off for a full blackout

IMWI RUN RECAP | 4:00:16 | 5th AG 🏃🏻‍♀️

I’m always so relieved when I get to the run. Temps were in the mid 60s [pretty much perfect] and while I probably started a little too fast (it’s so hard not to) I found a good rhythm.

The goal was to stay consistent, keep moving and stick to my nutrition plan. I did a gel every 30 min, alternating caff when I remembered, and sipping RAW from my handheld. I poured water over my head at almost every aid station and just kept moving forward.

The run was 2 loops with lots of turns, ups and downs, including a run through Camp Randall Stadium. Like the bike, you were never bored and the run went by so fast. The spectators and volunteers were just as everyone had described and there wasn’t a single part of the 26.2 miles where there weren’t people cheering.

For the most part I felt pretty good or as good as one feels after swimming 2.4 miles and biking 112 miles. No GI issues and my hamstring felt surprisingly good.

It was so great seeing @jschmidt61184 @tequilaflights and so many other @waterfallracing teammates on the course.

Before I knew it, it was time to make that final left turn at the capital and head toward the red carpet.

As I ran i thought about all those pre-race nerves. The early mornings. The late nights. The long, lonely training miles. The sacrifices. The work that no one sees. I realized it is all worth it.

I love this sport. I love this community. And that finish line will always be magical ✨

It’s been a while since I have seen an Ironman Podium. When the work pays off, it feels so good and still hurts days later lol. AG Third place on a very fast day, more work to do on the run. See you all at worlds in 🚂!!!

IRONMAN WISCONSIN 2026 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

7th Overall
2nd Age Group 🥈

This one meant more to me than any other.

Words can’t describe how incredible the supporters, volunteers, and athletes were throughout this race. The energy, the atmosphere, and the people made this one so special.

Four years ago, I watched the Ironman World Championship and thought, “There’s no way I could ever do an Ironman.”

Four years later, I’ve completed my 5th Ironman and qualified for that same World Championship race.

This sport means more to me personally than anyone will ever know. It’s given me so much more than just races and results, and I’m incredibly grateful for every person who has been part of the journey.

Gonna enjoy this one for a minute… but already looking forward to the next one. ❤️

IRONMAN Wisconsin

This sport is truly incredible. A lot of work has gone into the preparation. The rollercoaster of emotions you get to encounter through the course of a day pushing your body to the max is special; an experience you can’t find anywhere else. I couldn’t do any of it without the amazing people in my life. You know who you are❤️

Getting to share the race course with my coach made the day a little extra special.

Labor Day Ride 100k hosted by @scvfrost from @tampabayrides at @cravecoffeeandmarket

100km + a few extra miles to put the “labor” on Labor Day!

We rode to the ride and immediately got rained on.
Over 100 people RSVP’d. We split into two groups.

Got drenched twice, because it’s Florida!

Our group suffered some casualties 🤕 from wet roads close to the finish. I split just before it happened, hope all injured are doing ok and heal up!
