🌟 A PATH TO FULL OWNERSHIP: WATERFALL UNITY ALLIANCE COMPLETES LOAN WITH AMBER FARMLAND INVESTMENTS🌟 In 2023, Amber partnered with the @waterfallunityalliance and @skywomans_forever_farm to finance the purchase of a 60-acre berry farm in New York’s Schoharie Valley, helping the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) people return to their homelands. Today, the Waterfall Unity Alliance has paid off its loan and owns the land outright—a meaningful milestone for the community. All farmers in our portfolio, whether leased or mortgaged, can purchase the land they farm from us, allowing Amber to redeploy the funds to support additional farmland purchases. We believe lasting progress starts with strong partnerships, and we are proud to have supported the Waterfall Unity Alliance’s efforts to return to their ancestral homelands. Click the link in our bio to read our past farm profile.

Health is more than the absence of illness. It's the foundation of thriving communities. Natural gas pipelines can release hazardous air pollutants during routine operations, maintenance, leaks, and emergencies. For people living nearby, those exposures may pose risks that extend beyond construction and deserve careful consideration. Protecting public health means understanding the full impacts of pipeline infrastructure, not just the rare accidents that make headlines. Join us to #StopTheCON. Sources in bio.

While working families face rising costs, the federal government is offering up to $42 million in taxpayer support to revive the controversial #ConstitutionPipeline, a private fracked gas project with no publicly confirmed end customer. The question isn't simply whether the federal government *can* support a pipeline. It's whether extraordinary national defense powers *should* be used to advance fossil fuel projects over the objections of communities that would bear the risks. Whether we live in rural Pennsylvania, upstate New York, or anywhere else, we all deserve a say in how our tax dollars are spent and what happens to our land, water, and communities. Should emergency national defense powers be used to support private pipeline development? Is this how you want your tax dollars spent? Tell us what you think in the comments. #StopTheCON

While working families struggle with rising costs, the Trump administration is offering up to $42 million in taxpayer funding through the Defense Production Act to revive the Constitution Pipeline, a private fracked gas project that still has no publicly confirmed end customer. Rather than requiring the pipeline developer to demonstrate why this project is necessary and address its history of environmental concerns, the federal government is offering millions in public support. Why should taxpayers foot the bill while communities bear the risks? Communities across #Pennsylvania and #NewYork deserve investments that meet their needs, not public subsidies for a controversial pipeline with a history of environmental and regulatory challenges. Join Catskill Mountainkeeper for a webinar briefing on the ongoing legal fights against fossil fuel proliferation in New York State, featuring environmental lawyer Mark Izeman. We’ll share updates on the legal landscape for two critical issues in our environmental advocacy: (1) stopping the latest push to build the Constitution and NESE Pipelines and (2) defending New York State’s historic ban on fracking from a new legal attack. For more than 15 years, Catskill Mountainkeeper has been at the forefront of efforts to block the expansion of oil and gas extraction and infrastructure in New York state. Join this webinar briefing to learn more about the threats posed to our clean air and water, the history of Catskill Mountainkeeper’s success to date in opposing fossil fuel expansion, and the ongoing legal fights in federal court to ensure these protections last into the future. Featuring Mark Izeman, Senior Attorney, NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council) and Dr. Kathy Nolan, Senior Research Director, Catskill Mountainkeeper. RSVP at the link in our bio! #StopTheCON #ConstitutionPipeline #NESEPipeline #FrackingBan

Clean water is more than a resource. It's life. Our rivers, streams, wetlands, and groundwater provide drinking water, support wildlife, sustain agriculture, and strengthen local economies. Pipeline construction can put these shared resources at risk, with impacts that may continue long after construction is complete. Protecting water isn't just about today. It's about safeguarding the resources future generations will depend on. That's why we must #StopTheCON. Sources in bio.

Today, on #IndigenousPeoplesDay, we honor the histories, cultures, resilience, sovereignty, & ongoing leadership of Indigenous peoples, whose stewardship of the land & water continues to shape movements for environmental justice. Over the past several weeks, we witnessed the power of that leadership through the #WomensWaterWalk, a 108-mile journey to protect New York’s waterways from the proposed Constitution Pipeline. The walk began with a call to action from Grandmother Mona Polacca, a Hopi/Havasupai/Tewa elder & one of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers. People from across the country answered that call, coming together in prayer, solidarity, & a shared commitment to protecting water for future generations. The experience offered an important reminder about what meaningful solidarity looks like. There's a difference between speaking over a community & using your time, access, & capacity to carry out work that community leaders have entrusted you to do. Indigenous communities shouldn't be expected to shoulder the burden of confronting environmental destruction alone, particularly when so much of that destruction is rooted in systems of colonization, extraction, & exploitation. As allies, we have a responsibility to listen, build relationships of trust, & use our resources & capacity to support Indigenous-led efforts without centering ourselves. Indigenous leadership isn't simply something to celebrate. It's something to respect, defend, & follow. And honoring Indigenous peoples means more than acknowledging the injustices of the past. It means standing alongside Indigenous communities as they defend their sovereignty, protect their homelands, & shape their own futures today. We extend our deepest gratitude to Grandmother Mona, the Indigenous elders & leaders who guided the Women’s Water Walk, & every organizer, volunteer, & walker who answered the call to protect our water. Solidarity isn't just what we say. It's what we're willing to do, whose leadership we choose to follow, & the responsibility we share to protect the land, water, & future generations. #WaterIsLife #StoptheCON

A farm isn't just land. It's a legacy. Healthy farmland is built over generations, and so is the soil beneath it. When pipeline construction compacts soil or disrupts its natural structure, the impacts can last long after construction crews leave. For many farmers, the concern isn't just one season of lost crops but the long-term productivity of land they'll pass on to future generations. That's why many call it a lifetime loss, not a temporary inconvenience. Join us to #StopTheCON. Sources in bio.

What does it take to bring people together across political divides? Sometimes, it starts with protecting the place you call home. Actor and advocate @MarkRuffalo joined supporters of the Women’s Water Walk and spoke about the power of finding common ground, even when we don’t agree on everything. Stopping the Constitution Pipeline doesn’t have to be about left vs. right. People across #Pennsylvania and #NewYork can have different politics and still share the same concerns about protecting their water, their land, their homes and their communities. We don’t have to agree on everything to stand together on this. No matter your politics, we can agree. We must #StopTheCON. Take action at the link in our bio!

The @WomensWaterWalk may be over, but the reasons people walked didn’t end when the final mile was finished. Karenna Gore of the @CenterforEarthEthics joined the walk to stand alongside the Indigenous women, landowners, community members, and supporters coming together to protect water and oppose the Constitution Pipeline. As we continue the work to #StopTheCON, we want to keep hearing why people are part of this movement. Why did you walk? Why did you stand in solidarity? Why do you want to protect these waters and communities? Film a short video telling us your #WhyIWalk, post it to social media, and tag Stop the CON so we can uplift your story.
